Sarah did an amaaaazingggg job on my cut and balayage. She listened to what I wanted and understood it right away. The result is perfect — the right length, the right colour, and beautifully blended. She’s a total pro: patient, detail-oriented, and she took the time to explain things about my hair so I know how to take care of it properly. Arc Studio itself is cozy and comfortable, and I even got a lot of work done while getting my hair done. Highly highly recommend it!

Salon 44’s atmosphere and staff are incredible. I’ve had my hair cut by Lindsay and Sonya, and have received luxurious treatment with my beautiful haircut everytime. I would definitely recommend this studio.

Iris was amazing! I came in thinking that I will have to chop off all my hair because my hair was shedding a lot. However, Iris has saved my hair and I didn’t lose my length! She went through my habits and hair routine and identified the products that were causing my hair to weigh down and break and fall. Cannot wait to try my new routine! But I already am seeing results! Also I love my new haircut! There’s so much volume now! Iris is a true professional! She’s very knowledgeable, caring and nice! I finally found my go to professional! Thank you Iris!

Ayman is a great hair stylist. He and his wife make you feel welcome the minute you enter the salon. My hair has a wave in it but Ayman knows how to cut it so it styles effortlessly and is easy to manage between cuts. I have struggled to find someone to be able to cut my hair - I am so happy I found Ayman. We are fortunate to have a hair stylist at this level in Newmarket. I previously drove to Toronto every two to three weeks for a hair cut but no longer since discovering Ayman. Definitely recommend him.

My mom loved Iris! My mom is from Ottawa and has tried various professionals since we moved to Canada but she would always complain. I decided to bring her to my favourite salon in the GTA and let her try it out. She was super impressed with Iris! She doesn’t even remember the last time she had such a great haircut that suits her face. I personally don’t recognize her either. Iris has worked her magic and made my mom look so young and added so much volume to her hair! Iris is very knowledgeable and professional! She’s super nice and is fabulous at her work! Had a wonderful experience getting a curl before an evening event I had. Bernadette was super friendly and professional, and as a bonus she also had Type 1A hair and knew my struggle of having curls not stay throughout the night - so she did them a bit tighter and they fell into beautiful looser curls by the time evening rolled around. :) I don't usually do much with my hair but would go here if I decided to do anything with it again and recommend this studio for anyone! Great atmosphere and staff!

The salon has such a calming atmosphere, and the whole experience—from the attention to detail Sarah puts into her work to the relaxing hair wash—is always amazing. I leave feeling refreshed and so happy with my hair every single time. I can’t recommend Sarah and their salon enough!
