I decided to try texture release because I have thick hair which shrinks to about a third of its actual length. It was becoming harder for me to manage, especially on wash days so I booked my appointment and counted down the days. It's a multi step process so be prepared to be in the salon for a while but it is worth every minute and every cent. With proper care, it will last for at least three months, my hair is wayyyyy easier to comb and my favourite part is that while my hair is more stretched and appears longer, my wash and go is still very defined. 10/10, I definitely recommend

Let me tell yalll ....the customer service experience was exceptional. Now the hair I originally wanted was sold out. I was in a slight panic but found another source with something similar. When I called Kimmy to make sure I was obtaining the right hair, her helpfulness was a breath of fresh air. No frustration in her voice (mind you I call she a million times lol) it was pure customer service bliss. Her work is exceptional . I love my hair and will definitely be back but who wouldn't after such an experience. Kudos to Island Serenity!!

Leanne is excellent at hair care. She takes time to ask and listen before she begins my hair care and she provides guidance for correct after care for my hair texture….. And did I say her colour skills are just Fab 💥. She’s a natural. My hair looks and feels healthy, hydrated and thick. Leanne is friendly….we hit it off from the beginning.
