I had such a great experience at Jem 3-Arts. The team was really friendly, and even though they were running a bit behind, they offered me a complimentary hair treatment, which I really appreciated. The service was excellent — I felt so relaxed during my wash. Honestly, one of the best salon experiences I’ve had in Cape Town, and so affordable too. I’ll definitely be back!

I took a chance on Gingerlily based on the reviews I read online and I wasn't disappointed. I've been looking for a foot treatment that focuses more on a massage than a pedicure and that's exactly what I got. I absolutely loved that majority of the treatment was spent massaging my legs and feet. The pedicure part was nice, although my cuticles were left feeling very sensitive after the treatment. The welcome was warm, the place is cosy and my therapist was friendly and made me feel comfortable during my time there. We'll definitely be returning to try out the other treatments.

I enjoyed it. It was my first time. I missed in the first half my forehead not being mixed into the treatment. It did get some attention later. The tools could have been used troughout the massage instead of one after the other. It looses the feeling of being in that relaxing state. The wet wipes cloths I would definitely replace by cotton towels. Otherwise I really liked it and so did my skin.

I had the most incredible experience with Nina at Gingerlily Spa. I have been waxing for over 10 years with many different therapists, and never once have I almost fallen asleep during a facial wax. That changed today. Nina was so gentle, so calm and so warm in her approach. There was no pain, no discomfort, just pure professionalism and care. It honestly felt relaxing, which is something I never thought I would say about waxing. The way she works shows real skill and experience. You can feel that she knows exactly what she is doing. Did a Hollywood wax - super quick and pain free. My second time doing it here and barely had any ingrows. Recently did my T-panel and face framing highlights, was super affordable and I’ve been getting so many compliments. My hair is very fine and there’s been no breakage afterwards and it’s been about 3 weeks now. Hair in a good condition not dry at all
