Every visit to Sanctuary Birkenhead is a good one… but today I may have actually gone to sleep during my massage! Unreal! Por asked what I wanted, but I knew better than to tell her (she finds what needs working on anyway). It was SO GOOD! Kob kun ka, Por - it was good to see you again.

Wow, what a wonderful treat today was. My beautiful therapist really knows her stuff. Firm pressure but not painful I felt the knots just melting away and a sense of calm and relaxation overtook my body and mind. I would happily recommend all the therapists at Takapuna branch, they are all amazing.

Wow! Today’s massage was NEXT LEVEL! After two weeks away with work, I think I needed some putting back together! Anna was the perfect person for the job - she quickly worked out that despite asking for a ‘relaxing’ massage, it wasn’t really what I needed! Her fingers, elbows and forearms set to work, and 90 minutes later I was a new woman! There is a reason that regular visits to Sanctuary Birkenhead are a key part of my wellbeing toolbox. Always a great experience with Glenda..she always checks on pressure and injury and I keep coming back to her for massage..I recommend Glenda and she is professional and is great with hard pressure and really giving a great full body massage..I always leave feeling relaxed..it's perfect

AMAZING! I’m so glad that Sanctuary Birkenhead is part of my wellbeing toolbox. Por is an absolute delight. Today I asked for a relaxation massage, as I had the day off work and wanted to chill. It’s exactly what I got - but not soft hands. Still firm enough to know you were getting benefit from it. Her hands are homing beacons for any areas of tension. This was my second visit this week!

Today’s massage was memorable. Por had a plan to give me a relaxing massage… but when she did her scan at the start, that plan changed! All the secret weapons came out this afternoon, including elbows and knuckles. Not as much fun at the time, but I walked out feeling like a new woman! If your New Year’s resolution was to take better care of yourself, get along to Sanctuary Birkenhead. It’s a hidden treasure, with amazing staff. This is definitely part of my wellbeing plan!

If you are looking for a massage on the North Shore, look no further than Sanctuary Birkenhead. The moment you walk in the door you are greeted by their fabulous staff, with a beautiful smile and a warm cup of ginger tea (or water if you prefer). I have been a client at the Sanctuary for more than two years, but regularly for the last 15 months. Por is amazing - her magic hands quickly determine what needs the more deliberate attention of her elbows and strong fingers. She listens to what you want, and works to provide it in a most hospitable way. I always walk out taller, and happier.
