I had 2x recent excellent acupuncture sessions with Dr VJ. He is also skilled in osteopathy and wider traditional Chinese treatments, so I felt I got very well rounded treatment and care. He took time to properly diagnose my issues and even after the first session I felt a noticeable improvement. The staff at Maitri are all lovely and helpful too.

I had a really brilliant acupuncture session today with Dr VJ, i have attended due to severe hip pain which has reduced dramatically after being looked after by Dr VJ. I felt happy, relaxed and rejuvenated after attending my session today, thank you so much Dr VJ, your amazing.

Wonderful massage and cupping. I had muscle soreness due to lifting too many boxes of books and Julia definitely soothed this. I also have some chronic pain due to arthritis and am sure the cupping helped with that too.

I had a full body Swedish massage which was fantastic, I'd highly recommend. Julia patiently kneaded all the knots in my shoulders and back, the overall massage was a mixture of pain and pleasure as I was tense and achy (from gym sessions in the week) and that was pleasantly massaged out of me! l felt very zen afterwards. Maitri is such a calming and welcoming place, I look forward to my next visit.

Great first experience at Maitri. Felt welcomed and at ease from the moment of walking through the door . VJ took a lot of time to explain how the graph worked and acupuncture in general which I really appreciate, looking forward to my next session.

First imrpessions: palce is welcoming and spiritual. Alison welcomed me with a smile and offered me a hot drink. She is very warm and makes you feel comfortable immediately. Dr VJ comes personally to greet you and his assessment is amazing, using acugraph technology, and his own wide knowledge of Chinese medicine, neuroscience and western medicine. The acupuncture treatment with the appropriate electric current was the cherry on top, I am very impressed and will return.

Third acupuncture appointment. The difference is amazing! Walking much better and the ache has reduced significantly. Would highly recommend.

I saw Dr VJ today who did a whole body assessment followed by acupuncture to rebalance. He was so knowledgeable and took time to explain the process. The Best place with the most amazing vibe like a warm hug as soon as you walk in! Allison is beyond welcoming I feel as tho I have know her for forever. This was my first treatment here. It will not be my last. I had a wonderful back and shoulders massage from Emma. The room was a nice temperature and smelt divine. I'm going to try cupping next time, or reflexology, or acupuncture,,I can't decide. A gift of a treatment would make a lovely Christmas present for your loved ones
