I had an excellent appointment at the Essence of Beauty Salon. The staff and services were very professional. Kiran was my stylist, and I am very happy with my hair style and overall experience. I live in Houston, TX and I'm in Charleston visiting my brother. I will return to the salon when I'm in town during future visits.

My daughter wanted a look for prom that other salons said was not possible with my daughter's hair type but not y'all! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was nothing but love. The staff was so welcoming and kind, it really set the tone. And Kamani? Baby, she did her thing! So patient, so gentle, and took her time with my daughter like she truly cared. My baby usually cries getting her hair done but this time? Not one tear. Just calm, comfort, and good energy.
