Deya is the best! I have thick hair and I was worried about if KMB Studio didn’t have texturizing shears, but thank goodness I asked! They have shears to help thin your thick hair out if you don’t want to deal with a puffy lion’s mane especially with Chicago’s humidity lol! 🦁😜 and the conditioning mask made my hair feel soft and less frizzy! I felt very, very relaxed and pampered after the Bright and Glow facial ☺️ definitely much needed to get rid of the dead skin cells after being in the sun in Florida for a few days and sweating a lot. Please book with Jamie or anyone at Lux Skin Bar 🫶🏼

I had a great experience with eyebrow lamination and facial hair removal here. My brows turned out beautifully full, fluffy, and perfectly shaped without looking overdone. The technician really took the time to understand the look I wanted and executed it flawlessly. I also had chin and upper lip hair removal done, and it was quick, gentle, and very precise. The process was much more comfortable than I expected, and my skin felt smooth with minimal irritation afterward. Overall, the service was professional, clean, and efficient. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Diana.

Jamie continues to make her magic happen for my face! I came back from Florida for my mini moon 3 weeks ago and the heat and humidity there is no joke! 🥵☀️ I got the Bright and Glow facial to help lessen the sun damage I got in Orlando and to get my glow back. Jamie made it happen and my face feels so clean, refreshed, and soft! 🥰

The entire team at Shine On exceeded expectations. I don’t know thst I’ve had a salon experience in Chicago where I felt I was actually being listened to when explaining what I’m looking for. Noah took the time to explain what he was doing, including what I could expect two and three cuts out. I had eyebrow threading done with Weronicka and she too was amazing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a grown up experience. I’ll be sharing the Shine On business card with friends and look forward to my next salon day.
