I had a root touch-up and haircut with Summer, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Summer recommended a layered cut, and I’m so glad I trusted her advice. She also did an excellent job with my root touch-up. My hair looked so great that it put me in a great mood all day! This was my first visit to the salon, and every staff member I interacted with was professional and kind. The entire experience felt thoughtful from start to finish. I live in Seattle, but I would honestly make the trip back to Vancouver just to have my hair done here again.

The appointment was incredible - from gathering key details about my hair routine to the actual House of Yoko Signature Head Spa experience, completely blown away. Mika is fantastic. I went to see her for a consult regarding the condition of my scalp. She explained to me the result of her analysis in simple and understandable terms and what can be done about it. She also gave me the tools and resources to help me. Now I understand why I can wash my hair everyday and why my hair sheds. I also had a Head spa with the massages and it felt so good and my scalp never felt so clean! The products she used was so good and my hair felt so soft and smelled so good. Thank you so much Mika.

Olivia is great! She listened to everything I said and did exactly that. She understood what I was looking for and made sure that I was happy at the end. Her head massage is strong which I love. Felt comfortable and relaxed during the appointment. Took the time to not be on my phone and just relax. For anyone visiting: Downtown Vancouver is tough for parking so keep that in mind when planning the time of the trip. I went from being 10 mins early to being late 😅.

My first cut with Makoto and I am amazed with how quickly he was able to give me a perfect cut! I am a bit OCD when it comes to precision, and always nervous about having layers added to my hair as I’ve had some bad experiences but this is one of the best cuts I’ve had in many years! I had a simple trim since this was my first visit, but I’m a fan and would highly recommend Makoto to anyone wanting an expert cut that brings out the beauty of your hair.
