I've been looking for a hairdresser in the area for a while, and I think I've finally found it. I came into Lou's Salon with a pretty botched haircut, and Lou managed to fix it brilliantly. She's clearly very skilled, listened to what I wanted, and I was really happy with the result. On top of that, we had a great chat throughout, which made the whole experience really enjoyable. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend Lou to anyone looking for a great hairdresser.

Fab, quirky salon with a super vibe — and the lovely Lou! First visit today, and Lou put me at ease as soon as she opened the door. After an in-depth consultation, she got to work, and what a pleasure it was to have my hair coloured and cut by such an expert professional. Lou’s attention to detail and precision were clear throughout, along with her genuine love for what she does. Absolutely delighted with the result! Looks like I’ve found my new stylist! 😊

The best haircut I have ever had. Genuinely so happy with it, from long hair to a bob was a massive change and I was so nervous but Lou has done an amazing job I’m absolutely obsessed with my new hair, and the salon is beautiful aswell.

Literally the best haircut I've ever had in the chillest environment ever. Lou is so nice and even taught me to style my hair properly (let me hold the straightener and demo on my own hair!!) Playlist is 10/10 too. Probably gonna come back and get a colour later this year :)

Lou is very friendly, welcoming and professional. The salon set up is such a lovely, quirky place and handy as it’s right in the centre of Durham. It was without a doubt the best haircut I’ve ever had. My hair looks so healthy and styles so much easier now. Highly recommend and definitely will go back to Lou again soon.

Viktorija is amazing! I had the full length thermal treatment and henna brow tint and wax. Viktorija put so much time and care into both, making sure they were perfect! My hair has never looked/felt so good. Thank you so much!!

Loved the fact that Lou took her time to listen to what I wanted and we got to decide on the vision of how the hair was going to look. Never felt rushed or unheard. Lou had some great suggestions and I've decided to go with what she said and I don't regret it. She had to do a color correction and it turned out gorgeous. I could see she really cared I got the best possible results. My appointment was on a Sunday and it felt so relaxing being in such a beautiful space, full of character. I can finally say I have found the one who understands my hair and what I want. So happy!
