I came to the salon with three years of post-chemo therapy growth and it was wild. Robert did a brilliant job of cutting and styling my hair to perfection. I left feeling wonderful and my frizzy, coarse curls were soft, manageable and practically smiling themselves. He is a true curl whisperer.

Giuseppe was absolutely magic! I came in asking for highlights and a haircut he way my hair started as a bit yellow and completely fixed it. Not only was the color amazing but he made my flat hair have so much body and movement. I can’t thank Giuseppe and the team here enough!!!

Absolutely amazing, not only is the environment beautiful, the workers are fantastic and assist you at every turn. I got a perm today and it came out exactly how I envisioned it, compared to any other salon in New York, this has to be the best one by far.

This is my second time that I did my hair and I really like Jessica how she colored and cut my hair. She took her time and talked to me about how she wanted to do it if I agreed with it. I definitely come back to her as my permanent hair stylist. Thank you Jessica .

I can't describe how relieved I felt as Julie started on my hair. I miss my curly girl haircuts and love Curl Divinity being back in a familiar spot. My "test" is always the day after when I set my own curls after a shower....and lo behold, spring, shape and everything I was hoping for and Julie took the time to explain pre-cut, "dry" cut, and after for final snip. This salon by far is the best one I have seen in New York City. It is really clean and all the staff are super friendly. Tina is our hair dresser who takes care of our family. She is wonderful. I wish them all the best.

My hair has been getting wavier lately and I wanted a cut to bring out the curl more. Keith listened to me first before even starting on my hair, to get an idea of what I wanted and what my current routine is. He then helped me figure out a routine to do at home. I’m more than pleased with the results! He rescued my hair from a very bad cut I had a few months back (at a different salon) with someone who didn’t listen to me at all, and instead straightened my hair. Plus he brought out wave in the back that I didn’t know was possible.

Trish gave me the best haircut I have ever had in my entire life! People (strangers!) have stopped me on the street to tell me what a great haircut I have! She listens to what I want and works very carefully with me. She is also excellent where color is concerned. I think she is the best hairdresser in all of New York City!

My first time at Curl Divinity and it was great! Everyone was smiling and friendly! It smelled good and it was nice and warm on the coldest day of the year. Nevila was my first curly stylist and loved her cuts for years before I moved out of state. After getting subpar curly cuts for the past couple of years I decided to come back to Nevila and she came through, as usual. Highly recommend the salon and the stylist!

Sergio is the best. He did my daughter’s hair today and she looks great, he is always accommodating and kind. I used to see him every three weeks for my color when we lived in nyc and he did a beautiful job. He may be the only thing I miss about New York other than the pizza. Love you guys!

Ever since my favorite salon (Devachan) closed, I’d been searching (without much luck) for a place or stylist that came close to what I was used to. Until today. It was such a joy to finally find someone who truly understands and honors how to work with curly hair. The staff (admin, stylists, colorists and assistants) are all extremely friendly, work well as a team and professional in every way. I’ve followed Nevila for over 15 years—she’s a true curl genius who always gives me the perfect cut. Her talent, care, and consistency keep me coming back. Today, I saw Robert for color and styling, and he was incredible! He took his time, treated every curl with care, and made me feel pampered from start to finish. It was a true luxury experience. The whole team was warm and welcoming—I felt complimented and cared for the moment I walked in. It is evident that there’s a collaborative and supportive team culture. I’m so happy with the results and am already looking forward to returning.

Trish worked wonders with my long, wavy, yet frizzy hair (top layer). She cut it in a way that allowed the waves/curls to air dry and still look great! She gave excellent advice on what products would work the best for air drying and keeping the waves in tact. She has also given me a great blowout with lots of movement for when I don't want my hair to be wavy. The blow out lasts almost an entire week!
