Fantastic! As usual. I got compliments for my hair cut from the whole family plus some strangers - naturally told them of the salon. Not sure if they'll front up as they all live in Toowoomba. But I live another 100km south and it is worth the fuel to go to Brisbane to feel like a million $.

I love Mia Hair Studio - I stumbled upon Mia with a GroupOn for a Keratin Treatment. The keratin treatment was professionally done and has lasted ages (I have very thick, curly hair and in Brisbane humidity it can be hard to control - all great now). While there, I mentioned I needed a cut, which Mia had no problem doing - she heard what I had to say and gave me the perfect cut with the texture I asked for. I have also had colouring done and just love it. I also love that it's a small boutique - I can get my hair cut and coloured in 2 hours (if you know, you know! I can spend 4 hours!)

Absolutely love going to this salon with David at the helm doing my colour and educating me on curl care and style. So grateful to Monique for washing my hair-massage and overall colour-I’m in complete peace and love the massage chair/head massage that I receive while product is being applied. Thank you Jessica for styling and drying my curls today. (Sorry I got your name wrong when I left-I’m aging 🤦🏽‍♀️). The most talented and kindhearted staff at this salon.

I've been seeing Mia for 8 years now as she always does a fantastic job. She listens to what you actually want and provides ideas on what would suit for consideration. I have continued to see Mia even when not living in the same city so I do recommend her to anyone looking for a hairdresser in Brisbane.

I had a really great experience at Mia hair studio! She was very kind and patient with me. My perm was a bit challenging because my hair wasn’t quite long enough, but she still took the time to do it because she knew it was important to me. I really appreciated her effort and care. I’m very happy with the result and truly thankful. Highly recommend!

As someone who booked an appointment with great trepidation, due to my healthy phobia of haircuts.....my experience was above and beyond what I could have imagined. David was incredible, great energy and obviously cutting skills, but he was also so full of info on how to manage my luscious curls. In 45 mins I went from haircutaphobic to curly Instagram model. If, and more likely when I get another haircut, I will be heading back to the holy land of curl specialists, Marcia Gibsons
