Went for a Full Body Exfoliating treatment today, told the therapist I didn't want my actual torso done and asked if she could instead spend a little extra time doing my arms & legs, oh my goodness, Amy was an absolute delight and done exactly that plus gave my tired ol' legs the most amazing deep massage, trust me for someone "on the very heavy side" and ladened with varicose veins my legs definitely appreciated & benifited from it. Salon was spotlessly clean and super welcoming from the minute I stepped in. Thank you so much Amy, will be booking again next month for sure.

Kirk is extremely knowledgeable on human anatomy and the role each skeletal muscle plays in biomechanics to create pain at each spot and movement. The Sports Massage he offers is not a stronger deep tissue, because it wasn't about the amount of force applied to the "knots". In fact, he uses a moderate amount of strength you would get in a deep tissue or less than a deep tissue, but following the muscle fibres' natural direction and ease out the tension. He also gave me a few exercises to strengthen my weaker muscles that induced compensation in surrounding muscles. He's amazing!

Grace was extremely knowledgable and found the problem straight away. The deep tissue massage helped enormously. I left with exercises as homework and got home to an email with a more detailed list, along with videos. It was a relaxed, friendly environment and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Recovery Room
