Great experience here at TriBeCa hair studio, my stylist listened to my needs and executed my blow dry the way I wanted. It was my first time in New York as I’ve travelled from London. Will come back here again whenever I’m in New York! Thank you girls! 🥰🥰

Great experience. The team was so accommodating even when I was running late. Nelly was very caring and did an excellent job checking in to make sure that the length, layers, and style were just right. 10/10!

The salon is beautiful, the stylists are friendly, knowledgeable, and had nice hospitality. My stylist took my coat for me and hung it up, it was a snowy day so they had a bin for umbrellas, and they served drinks like tea, water, and seltzer water.

Jill is a magician!! The New York winter and water had killed my curls, but Jill brought them back to life. So very professional and taught me about my hair and styling, while also keeping my preferences top of mind. The space is clean and modern, and the Self team were so wonderful.

Lynne was everything and more to my hair! My experience was very peaceful and therapeutic. From the washing to detangling to even the heat application I was in no sort of pain and she constantly checked in on me. Her energy was so sweet and I felt so comfortable for a first time visit. When it came to cutting my hair she triple checked to make sure what I wanted and I greatly appreciated that. She’s perfect and I will definitely see her again! -Gabriela

This place was AMAZING! So clean, felt very luxurious but was not crazy expensive, and was such a nice environment. Gigi listed to exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond to make the experience great. She fixed issues from previous salons and I can truly say it was the best haircut and color I’ve ever had! So excited to come back!

I cannot recommend Francisco enough! He did my hair and makeup for my bridal shower, and I left feeling like an absolute superstar. The look was flawless, glamorous, and exactly what I had envisioned—he has such an incredible eye for detail. Not only did I get endless compliments, but everything lasted perfectly the entire night without a single touch-up. Francisco is beyond talented and such a joy to work with—I’ll definitely be booking him again for future events!

As always, my appointment at Self left me feeling like me again. After a really difficult year of sudden hair loss, I finally worked up the courage to go for a cut that felt healthy, fuller, and fresh. Maria Barca has been my trusted stylist for years, and she continues to meet me with so much care and understanding. I’m very emotionally attached to my hair, and she’s always gentle, supportive, and honest about what will look and feel best. And truly, the entire team at Self is exceptional!!!!!!

Bobby is the best! The only person I go to for haircuts. He's friendly and upbeat, and an excellent barber who pays close attention to the details. Great at trimming and fading my sides and beard, and follow up with a hot towel. Tribeca hair studio is also great, the space is conveniently located, bright and clean, and reservation and payment is super easy.

I came in for a big chop and ended up needing my sew in taken out. When I called to see if they could squeeze that in, especially being the last appointment on a Sunday afternoon at 3 pm, they did not hesitate to help. I really appreciated how accomodating they were. The service was great. My hairstylist was great! I absolutely love my big chop. I will definitely be coming back again.

Lina was an amazing lash tech! She was super sweet and explained everything carefully. When it came to getting a new set, she was so delicate and thorough that I knew I’ll be waking up with the best lashes! I’m super delighted with the result.

It was my first time at the salon. I went there because it’s my hairstylist new salon. It’s pretty inside, clean and spacious. The staff were friendly. They offer makeup and facial services too. The prices were fair. Dina is amazing. She’s an awesome hairstylist, artist and has a great personality. Knows her clients and when you ask her for a hair color, she’s going to deliver. Every time she does my hair, I feel like a different woman. I feel beautiful and sexy. I recommend the salon and definitely the best hairstylist, Dina.

I received the Blaque Carpet Treatment, which included both hair and makeup for my special event. From start to finish, the team was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive to my needs. Who wouldn't want someone to turn their children into "model" citizens! My girls go from "Cousin it" to beautifully coiffed in no time flat! We have been going as a family to Karen at Tribeca Hair Studio and it's the quickest mood elevator you'll ever experience short of walking the red carpet with all the paparazzi. Karen is an absolute delight! I almost feel like keeping this secret to myself but I feel she's too good. If you're looking for a quick pick me up or thinking about making a style change- schedule an appointment as she can get quite busy!
