Jill is a magician!! The New York winter and water had killed my curls, but Jill brought them back to life. So very professional and taught me about my hair and styling, while also keeping my preferences top of mind. The space is clean and modern, and the Self team were so wonderful.

I had a wonderful experience with Eugene! He listened to my inquiry, took time to look at photos and was very thorough in his application. He walked me through each part of my styling, his attention to precision was unlike any I have experienced before. My hair looks and feels incredible, he knew how to accent and frame my face. The salon’s etiquette and ambience was nothing less than perfect. It was my first color and silkpress, Jahlena did a great job styling and educating me on my natural hair. After a 1.5 hr long commute; she has a loyal client! Can’t wait to return for Jahlena to style my hair in a few months.

I had a great experience with Gina. This is my first time getting a short hair cut and she answered every question and made me feel very comfortable and took me through it step by step to the length that I will feel more comfortable in. My experience with Gina was amazing but the lady at the front desk with the long straightened hair was very rude to the stylist in which made me feel uncomfortable. Besides that I had an overall good experience and I love my haircut
