After a transition from copper to blonde I thought it would take me much longer to get the hair of my dreams back but she went above and beyond to not only get it such a beautiful colour but also to keep my hair healthy! Never knew my hair could feel so healthy especially after a bleaching session. Don’t think I’d go anywhere else in Dundee now ❤️

I have been coming to Karen James for a few years now and have mainly been seeing Jordan for the duration. Always a friendly warm service and always listened to. I have had cuts, colours and weave fittings in that time and have always been delighted with my hair. Jordan has always gone above and beyond for me, going the extra mile and fitting me in at last minute sometimes. She is passionate about her job as is everyone who works in the salon. Always a lovely chat when I’m in and everyone is always so lovely, friendly and positive.

Lauren listened to what I wanted and all turned out perfectly, I took along a couple of clip in extensions for the sides of my hair and she matched my hair exactly, she is lovely and you feel relaxed and at ease , she is willing to listen to what you think is best for you and you get what you want , some hairdressers give you what they think you need but with Lauren you get what you want and leave happy

We had such a great experience at Karen James Hair Design today! My boy can be a little unsure about haircuts, but Jordan was very patient, friendly, and made him feel completely at ease from the moment we walked in. The Jordan really listened to what we wanted and gave him a brilliant hair cut and we left with a very happy little boy. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a boys haircut ✂️😊

I always have a fantastic experience at my cut and colour appointment. From the moment I walked in, the team made me feel welcome and relaxed. Bruce is excellent, the colour turned out absolutely beautiful, I have received many compliments. The cut is also perfect: fresh, flattering, and easy to style at home. The salon itself was spotless, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. I left feeling amazing ready for my dinner date.

Bruce was beyond brilliant! He made me feel so at ease and really understood exactly what I wanted done- unlike the last few hairdressers I’ve been too. I had no anxiety or fear about what my cut and colour was going to turn out like, I had full trust in him from the moment I walked in the door! Honestly in one appointment he has made my hair look the healthiest it’s been all year! With such reasonable pricing and great chat, I can’t wait to return to Bruce in the new year!!

Fantastic experience! I first came to the salon a few months ago after experiencing years of off and on hair loss and would like to emphasise to anyone who feels uncomfortable or embarrassed by their hair loss that Nicki is an absolute professional and creates a very welcoming and open environment in her salon. Her recommendations for non-irritating products have massively improved my scalp health. She also understands how to cut and style hair which has went through sporadic/inconsistent hair loss and is very fair with her pricing for all the knowledge she offers. Thank you so much! <3
