Here’s a refined version of your review: As soon as the elevator doors open onto the sixth floor, TOKA Salon feels like a breath of fresh air. The staff is not only professional but also incredibly warm and welcoming, instantly putting you at ease. I often find myself wishing I’d arrived early enough to enjoy their beautiful balcony—an oasis on warmer days. And with this unexpected November warmth, I really missed a chance to unwind there before my appointment. Having frequented New York City salons for nearly 30 years, I can confidently say TOKA Salon more than earns its place on Madison Ave

Jamal is a wizard with sensitive hair, and fixed my damaged hair so that it looks and feels healthy and amazing!! It was a great blessing to find them; I only wish they were in New Jersey :-) so I shall have to go up to New York many many times in the future!!

Always the best!! Maria and everyone are SO talented and make me feel brand new! I only trust Maria with my hair. I met her in 2018 when she saved my hair for my wedding and she became my person for life! That’s how good they are! You only need to go once to know they’re the best! Color, blow outs cuts or extensions they can do it. Everyone helps each other and the vibe is always great they make you feel comfortable I’ve even fallen asleep in the chair and Maria never makes me fun of me even tells me to go back to sleep if I need to haha they’re simply the best!

Very kind and professional people, the guy who cut my hair (caesar) was just amazing, my only point out is that i thought it ended up being more expensive than expected.

This salon by far is the best one I have seen in New York City. It is really clean and all the staff are super friendly. Tina is our hair dresser who takes care of our family. She is wonderful. I wish them all the best.

This is a wonderful salon. The stylists are friendly and clearly know their trade. I have been seeing Myriam le Gal for many years and people sometimes stop me on Madison Avenue to compliment my hair. I even have a friend who flies into New York from Mexico to have Myriam do her magic.

Trish gave me the best haircut I have ever had in my entire life! People (strangers!) have stopped me on the street to tell me what a great haircut I have! She listens to what I want and works very carefully with me. She is also excellent where color is concerned. I think she is the best hairdresser in all of New York City!
