Skylah did a lovely and gentle wash and blow dry for me. I have a very sensitive scalp and this was a dream. My only comment related to the salon is one thing. The wash basins are torturous and perhaps offer to place towels upon the neck part for very much needed comfort.

Every appointment feels relaxed and uplifting because of the vibe he brings. His hair extensions are honestly the best I’ve ever had. They last the full duration, look completely natural, and my hair always feels healthy and in great condition when I leave. I love Mia Hair Studio - I stumbled upon Mia with a GroupOn for a Keratin Treatment. The keratin treatment was professionally done and has lasted ages (I have very thick, curly hair and in Brisbane humidity it can be hard to control - all great now). While there, I mentioned I needed a cut, which Mia had no problem doing - she heard what I had to say and gave me the perfect cut with the texture I asked for. I have also had colouring done and just love it. I also love that it's a small boutique - I can get my hair cut and coloured in 2 hours (if you know, you know! I can spend 4 hours!)

I have recently moved to Brisbane from overseas and have been looking for a hairdresser and Calbie is a minute away from home so I thought it would be perfect. My hair is so damaged due to various reasons one being over bleaching. I wanted to go for my usual highlights but was persuaded to get some low lights and I honestly cannot be happier. My hair looks fab and I was so impressed with the knowledge/expertise and how it turned out as I would never have suggested this myself. I am excited for my hair journey and so happy I stumbled across him on insta. 10/10 recommend.

Lanna started our appointment having a chat with me about how I take care of my hair, what I like and what I don’t like about my hair, how I style it and what I wanted from it. I had adventured myself in self cutting and dying my hair and went to her to fix it, even when I said she could just cut as much as she needed off and that I wouldn’t mind, she made sure to cut only what was necessary because I had mentioned previously that I preferred it longer. She gave me great tips, talked to me and really heard me and soon after the cut my hair was alive again. She’s amazing!
