What is back waxing and how is it done?

Back waxing is a hair removal method where hot wax is applied to your back and then removed with a strip of cloth or paper, which also removes back hair from the roots. The treatment is carried out by a licensed esthetician who will use a spatula to apply the wax in small sections on the back, then remove it using the strip of cloth or paper.

Is back waxing painful?

Back waxing may cause some discomfort, particularly in denser hair areas. However, many clients find it quite tolerable with an experienced therapist. The sensation is brief and results last far longer than shaving.
