Unexpectedly found myself staying in Durham and needed a hair cut…. always difficult choosing where to go in these circumstances. Rachel at Belle Ame was great, I showed her a photo of what I wanted and she created it perfectly. Nicely blowed dried and very quick too!

A friend & I booked pin-ups for a destination wedding held at a beautiful spa & event hall in Durham. Matthew was our stylist. He was very accommodating with our schedule as we had to reschedule about a week before when our times for the day had changed. Matthew is an absolute delight! He was able to create the look we both wanted and even allowed us to come back a couple of hours later so he could secure our fascinators & touch up the final look. The salon is a hidden gem & all of the staff are quite lovely. This is the place if you’re looking for fantastic & friendly service.

I had my waxing done and it was pain less and a pleasant experience. Will surely recommend 👌

Came to Durham to visit my son and stayed at the Marriott hotel. I thought I would just try the hairdresser and beauty therapist in their car park. They are both the best I have ever had and I am honestly considering coming back to Durham every 4-6 weeks to not only see my son but to get my hair a beauty treatments done also. They are just perfect! So pleased with the end results. Thank you

Matthew was absolutely brilliant when I managed to get an appointment while visitin Durham this weekend. I felt really safe with the salon's Covid security measures and Matthew put me at ease with his hilarious stories! I can't recommend Belle Ame highly enough.

Very professional and friendly service. I came forna 3/4 legwax. The waxing was gentle and not painful, and the aftercare advice was clear and helpful. I felt very comfortable throughout and will definitely be returning for more treatments

Kelly is absolutely brilliant. I've had an LVL and an under arm wax and both treatments were fantastic. Highly recommend.

I had a lash tint and eyebrow wax/tint with Abbie. As always, I'm really happy with the results. The salon is a lovely, welcoming environment and Diane and Abbie both make you feel really comfortable. Also love seeing Toby :)
