It was my first time at this salon as I live in the east end of Ottawa and stubbled across this salon by chance. The staff were nothing short of excellent and were very professional. The attention to detail was fantastic, the women would not let anything short of perfect pass. I had received a mani/pedi as well as a waxing service during my visit and the level of skill exuded by each technician was remarkable. I will absolutely be making the trip across the city to visit this salon from now on, this was the first time in ages I had been in awe at my nails!

I had such a wonderful experience with Amy at Mane West Salon in Stittsville! She transformed my washed-out blonde into the most beautiful, rich dimensional brunette, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The colour is vibrant, natural, and full of depth, and my hair looks incredibly healthy and shiny. Amy also gave me a fantastic haircut with so much movement, it feels lighter, looks fuller, and styles beautifully. She really took the time to understand what I wanted and delivered even better than I imagined. And I have to mention the scalp massage! Amazing!

Wonderful experience getting the head massage, a wax and eyebrows tinted and shaped. Jasmine and Chelsea were both incredibly kind and ensured I was comfortable and happy with the service. My face and hair look and feel incredible now!

I’m very pleased with my recent experience at Mane West! Kaitlyn was attentive from the start, making scheduling easy and very accommodating. I was warmly welcomed and loved the salon’s inviting vibe in their new location! My stylist, Amy understood my vision for a balayage and added warm caramel tones with a subtle technique that blended perfectly with my dark brown hair; exactly what I was looking for! Upstairs, Keira was informative and did a fantastic job on brown waxing any tinting. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

If you are looking to experience one of those ASMR videos with deep pressure massages that get right in there, I HIGHLY recommend the shampoo with head/neck massage!! Holy smokes, I think I teleported for the full 70 mins! Amazing price as well!

I saw Jacqueline for a full head of highlights, cut and style. She’s fun to talk to and knows what she’s doing when it comes to hair. She even took the time to show me how to style my new chopped bob, which I really thought was above and beyond. The salon atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Highly recommend!

Always enjoy my time at this salon. My wax was quick and professional. I have regular gel manicures with Helen who does an amazing job every time. My nails are always perfectly shaped and built and meticulously painted. They often last over a month before refill. Happy to have Sweetling as my go-to salon!

Experience was overall really good. My daughter and I booked for mani/pedi and a full set of acrylics. 4 stars because my daughter had to wait 40 mins after the start time of her appointment because it was so busy. She finally got a technician when I was finishing up my pedi. Other than that no complaints!

Julia is INCREDIBLE. If you’re needing liquid gel, she’s a wizard. She makes the nails thin and smooth, puts enough colour so the nails are solid against light... I have been going to her every three weeks for the last year and a half and she nails it every time.

Meek was a fresh new face for me. I ruined my nails on the weekend and booked ‘any professional’ for the next day. She was assigned to me and I had a delightful experience with her. I love how she treated my cuticles and we created a colour ( half colour ; half sparkle) that I couldn’t find in the samples. A very enjoyable experience. PS. The samples are very old and need updating. One colour I chose initially was actually orange in the container and not the pink on the sample! I have had this issue before. So just beware. I plan to ask for a tester nail going forward every time.

Courtney and her team are amazing. They all work so hard and won’t let you leave without your hair being perfect. Courtney is so dedicated to her work and consistently gives amazing service. I would highly recommend this salon. It’s definitely one of the best in all of the Ottawa area.

I had a wonderful pedicure done by Gaelyn at Luna Spa in Stittsville, ON. I’m very pleased with how everything was done and I even had a paraffin wax treatment on my feet and it felt very luxurious and worth the extra cost. I always request Gaelyn when I visit this spa because we have nice discussions and she does a very good job on my pedicure every time.
