I highly recommend Avoca cosmetology at smithfield. I had a walk in appointment for an eye brow wax and tint. The young lady who looked after me did a fantastic job. She was engaging, professional and highly skilled. I will definitely go there again

This was a really great experience! I want for lash tint, brow stain which was new to me, and bikini wax. She did a great job on my brows and explained the stain, and ensured we aligned on the colour. She made me super comfortable - the spa treatment room is very tidy and well-appointed. I’ve had bikini / Brazilian waxes done in Canada, Saudi Arabia and now here in Cairns and this was the most efficient and painless visit in nearly 25 years of them. I’m not sure what exactly the product was, but it went on smoothly without tugging and NOT burning hot, and was super effective. Recommend!!

I highly recommend Avoca to everyone. I had a last minute brow appointment with Sarah - my first since returning to Cairns after moving 3 years ago. I’ve definitely missed coming here as no where else compares. The whole online booking process was smooth and efficient. Sarah provided the most relaxing, friendly, calming and precise service for me. I love my new brows! The overall feel and style of the place is beautiful, welcoming, and relaxing 😌

I had 30’ relaxation massage with Jade and it was one of the best one in Cairns by far. Jade had an excellent technique and the pressure strength was absolutely perfect! The treatment worths the money paid! I will come back to try many other treatments!

Absolutely amazing beautician! An incredibly kind and professional lady with a beautiful, welcoming home studio. She’s consistently reliable, gentle, and precise — I always leave feeling great. Her pricing is very reasonable, and her service is unmatched. I wouldn’t trust anyone else! She's now also taking care of my partner's male waxing needs, and he’s just as impressed. Touriya is such a sweet and caring person, and I highly recommend her to everyone! Her services are always top-notch—personal, hygienic, and incredibly comfortable.
