I am visiting Cairns for 2 weeks and was a walk in client wanting my lashes filled as I didn’t get to have them done before leaving Brisbane. I was greeted by a lovely girl by the name of Michelle and made a booking to have my lashes done with her on the following day. I was very impressed with everything about this salon. I laid in the most beautiful treatment room on the most comfortable beauty bed whilst having my lashes done, and was EXTREMELY happy with how my lashes looked upon completion of my appointment. Thank you Michelle. I absolutely love them! You did a wonderful job 💝

I had a wonderful experience at Beauty Impact! One of my big pains is that there is always some hair left on my legs after just having them waxed - but Tracy really made sure that she got them all. Very relaxing. Not like the usual “busy” salons I have experienced in the past in Cairns. I felt like I was treated with dignity & respect. Every ingredient was explained to me. Sally was very thoughtful, asked me what tea I would like to drink during the foot spa session, & engaged in providing quality time with my feet, toes and lower limb massage. I will be returning to Serene Retreat when I am in Cairns again next. Serene Retreat is now my new chosen place of serenity for receiving an ultimate pedicure and massage.

This is a really fantastic salon - relaxing, pampering, expert, friendly and kind. The best way I can describe it is ethical luxe. If you are, like me, new to town and are not sure where to go for that little treat or indulgence and want to be treated like a princess don’t look any further. Faux fur blankets, warm bed to hop into after the ‘nasty’ treatment for the remainder, delicious elixirs and dainty little edible treats presented in a glass cloche post-treatment were some of the highlights. Donna is a font of information about the best cafes in Edge Hill and the must-do’s in Cairns.

Donna is highly skilled and experienced in buccaneers massage. Donna put me at ease immediately and I can’t believe that after just one appointment felt tension release in my jaw and neck. Tension we carry around daily is difficult to identify and Donna’s work and care left me feeling lighter and more relaxed in this area than I have for a long time. Donna knows what she is doing, intuitive and responsive. I’ll be back. Thank you Donna.

DJ gets my colour right EVERYTIME! They are both polite and professional. Happy not to talk if you don’t want to and happy to engage if you do. I don’t really like talking too much when I get my hair done, it’s my time out to reflect. But over the 2hrs I found myself talking about family and renovations and we always have a really good laugh with both DJ and Nikki. DJ listens and does what I ask for. He’s honest and tells me if I don’t need a cut this time and this was not the first time I paid less than he quoted over the phone and that is always such a lovely surprise at the end!

5 stars – A wonderful experience! Today I visited Soul Beauty Co for a half leg wax, eyelash and eyebrow tint, and eyebrow wax, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Donna, the owner, is such a lovely woman — warm, caring, and incredibly professional. She made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in and took great care in every part of the treatment.
