Been getting my hair cut by Ilker for a while now and he never disappoints. Great attention to detail, excellent fades, and always takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. One of the best barbers I’ve had in New York. Highly recommend.

11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

Fantastic! This was for a single-process hair color plus glaze. I hadn’t seen Tina in a while but she asked good questions and listened to my concerns. I walked out with shiny healthy-looking natural looking hair. The shampoo and head massage from her assistant Carlos were very relaxing. Great experience.

I walked in spontaneously, from out of town, and having wanted to cut my hair and change my style for a while but not knowing where to go since my stylist moved last year. I read the reviews, requested a consultation, and took the plunge! I was not disappointed. Onur spent time talking with me and we came to agreement on the style (a chic chin length bib with slight texturizing). My hair was long, between my shoulders and elbows, so this was a big change! Onur did a great job. I am very happy with the result and wish I hadn’t waited so long. You’ll be in good hands in a welcoming place.

Ainur is incredibly talented and pays amazing attention to detail with every braid she creates. I’ve gone to her multiple times for special events like HYROX competitions and the Pride Parade, where I wanted colorful extensions braided into my natural hair. The braids always look beautiful, are comfortable, and hold up for days—even through intense athletic events. I highly recommend Ainur to anyone looking for high-quality, creative braids that last!

I've NEVER written a review in my life. No cap. But Desiree's work at The Way inspired my first. My daughter's hair was always this dry, clumpy mop that took stylists 10+ hours to braid—most visits took two days. Our first visit to The Way? A haircut and 2½ hours later, we finally got to celebrate her natural curly hair. Curls just popping and locking. Beautiful. For parents with mixed kids struggling with their children's hair—this place should be shortlisted. Highly recommended and will definitely return. Thanks, Desiree and The Way!

It was a really great experience. She will guide you in choosing the set that suits your eye the most. At first I like to get a complex one but she explained how it’s gonna be hard to maintain unlike the natural ones. She was able to entertain me with bunch of talks unlike other places. As of now, i don’t feel anything poking my eye and it’s a good sign. 🫶

Jamal, and his assistant Talia, are extremely kind, utterly professional, thorough and an absolute joy with whom to spend the afternoon. Jamal is a wizard with sensitive hair, and fixed my damaged hair so that it looks and feels healthy and amazing!! It was a great blessing to find them; I only wish they were in New Jersey :-) so I shall have to go up to New York many many times in the future!!

What a great experience as usual. I went in for a cut and blowdry but after arriving I decided I'd like to get highlights as well. I'm so happy with how everything turned out. My highlights are very natural and so beautiful. The color she picked compliments my skin tone and natural hair perfectly. The haircut is gorgeous. Exactly what I asked for. I had such an amazing and comforting experience! It was my second time getting my lashes done and I am blown away by how natural they look. Leonor did an incredible job on my dip powder nails with tips! The shape was flawless, and the nails were perfectly thin, giving them a beautifully natural look. She’s efficient, yet clearly a perfectionist—which I really appreciate as a fellow perfectionist. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I’ll absolutely be back and would recommend her to anyone looking for top-quality work from a true professional with 23 years of experience. Plus, the space is super cute inside!
