Scissors were used by Hayley close to my scalp. After about 20 minutes I didn't have as much hair. No matter how much I asked her she refused point blank to tell me how it had happened. In olden times that kind of magic might have led people to call her a witch. However, because it is in Brighton that might of never happened here as it is accepting of lots of weirdos. A pleasant experience that I would urge anyone to try - drop me a line if you work out how the hair becomes less.

Came to Brighton for a friend’s hen do and booked for a blowdry with Christine. Such a lovely experience and my hair looked great and lasted perfectly. Super speedy too, while still giving perfect service. Very happy and I’ll be booking in for the wedding weekend too!

I couldn't recommend Christine highly enough. Whether I want highlights, a cut, a tone, or a refresh, she always excels. She takes the time to understand what I'm looking for and her expertise really shows. She's lovely too! I have curly hair so used to be nervous at hairdressers, but I've been seeing Christine for a year now and always feel calm and comfortable when having my hair done. The space is relaxing and welcoming. I couldn't be happier with the results every time.

Rachel is absolutely fantastic! I was really embarrassed about the state of my nails and she made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. I went in for a second appointment today and the difference from the first appointment has been huge! I’m so excited to see how the next few weeks go in terms of nail growth and progress! Had my hair coloured, highlighted and tinted by Janet. It was a dark block colour from years of doing it myself. She talked me through each step and although it took some time I am really pleased with it. It has totally transformed it and looks totally different, fab colour and the result is great. I was visiting Brighton from Leeds for a family wedding, I met up with my sister in law who had travelled from Ipswich. It’s hard choosing a hairdresser when you don’t know the area. We both requested an ‘updo’. We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival. The staff were extremely friendly and very professional. The prices I would say were more than value for money. I have never walked into a salon and felt as welcome as I did at House Of Kingshott. The ambience is breathtaking. It’s clean, light, modern and inviting. I was offered a refreshment and made to feel at ease from the get go. I have been a loyal customer to my previous salon for 20 years, however, I was in desperate need of a blowdry for a party and couldn’t get an appointment, Reid was able to accommodate my needs, and excelled. Never before have I felt so confident, my hair is big, beautiful and bouncy! You have won me over! Would rebook in a heartbeat. 10/10

A lovely experience from beginning to end. Jo listened carefully and discussed options before my colouring and cut. The colour is natural and the cut always grows out beautifully. The relaxing scalp massage and the special massaging chair were a bonus. I walked out feeling confident and cared for. Highly recommend.
