Lena Baidikova did my haircut, and she did it very well — exactly as I expected. I was very happy with the haircut itself. However, I also asked to fix my highlights, which had previously been done at Scarlett O Hair and were not bleached properly. The correction only involved one or two small sections in the front near my face, with no additional color applied, just a small bleach fix. I was charged $50 for this service, which I feel was not quite fair considering the original work had been done at the same salon.

Tried this salon for the first time. Moved into the area 4 years ago but have not had luck in finding a good salon nearby (coming from downtown Toronto, which had great salons just walking distances away). I went in for my roots and Davide was my stylist. He was incredibly professional and experienced. I am very satisfied with his work and am looking forward to going back!

Bill and Steph always make me feel beyond comfortable and take care of all my needs ! I always walk out feeling my best ! All of the staff goes out of their way to make sure you’re well looked after ! This is the only salon I’ll go to now that I live in Toronto

I love this place. The staff are very friendly, but also sensitive to the times when you have an appointment at the end of the day, and are too tired for conversation. I have seen multiple practitioners for cuts, colour, and many of the esthetician services, and have always been pleased. I shopped around when I first came to Toronto before I found a place I was satisfied with.

Both Sarah and David style my thick, curly hair like a BOSS. I live in Montreal and this is my go-to salon when I'm in Toronto. Small salon with a big heart. Def recommend.

Catherine was great. I didn’t want to take much length off my hair, and she respected that. Usually, hairdressers cut more than we ask for, and she was perfect. I asked for a soft layered cut and loved the result. Going back for highlights for sure.

Just had my highlights, cut, and style done—and I couldn’t be happier! From the moment I walked in, I felt completely taken care of. Enza listened closely to what I wanted and then worked her magic perfectly for my hair type and style. The cut is fresh and flattering, and the styling left me feeling like I stepped out of a magazine shoot. Not only is Enza incredibly talented, but also warm, professional, and clearly passionate about her work. She has a funny sign that says "I'm a beautician, not a magician" but I beg to differ! :-)

I booked an appointment with Anissa for a balayage colouring treatment. She is so precise and determined to do a great job all the while being extremely personable and making the whole experience fun while maintaining a great sense of professionalism. I’m quite particular when it comes to my hair and don’t trust many people with it (and when searching for a good colourist and stylist, I’ve recently come up short), but I plan on booking with her every time—even if it means I have to wait a little longer, rather than booking with just anyone at any salon.

Fiona has been colouring my hair for over 3 years now and she has expertly guided me through all of my phases (blond balayage, natural hair colour with management of roots, and now grey-blending). I highly recommend her! Also, the salon is newly renovated and bright and the Olenza team is friendly and welcoming, which makes for an overall great experience.

So happy that Paul has started at Twin Scissors. Paul is truly passionate about what he does. He is a perfectionist and will measure and cut until it’s exactly the look you were after. As Paul has been cutting, coloring and styling my hair for over 10 years, he knows exactly what styles would interest me. He is talented, dedicated and compassionate about his clients. Twin Scissors is quaint and warm and inviting. There is sufficient parking nearby. It’s also a short walk from Islington subway station. I would highly recommend booking an appointment with Paul.

My hair was a disaster- damaged, I had used different pharmacy hair colours and it is thinning at a rapid pace. A friend recommended I try the Venus Victoria Salon. Bill did a fabulous job with the colour and Teighlor with the cut. I am positively delighted and will be a faithful client from now on. I live in the east end of Toronto but it’s worth the drive to get my hair done right. It looks great and Teighlor even recommended products that help build volume and hide the thinning. It was my first visit to Scarlett O’Hair, and I had a wonderful experience. Victoria did highlights and lowlights with great skill. My husband absolutely loves my new look, which made me so happy.
