I thoroughly enjoyed my first appointment at Peckham’s Best. Monica is exceptionally professional, pleasant and kind. Despite my tardy arrival at the salon, she welcomed me warmly and started work on my hair, swiftly and skilfully taking down my braids. She detangled my natural hair so thoroughly and gently, gave me a fantastic scalp massage at the shampoo bowl as well as a great conditioning treatment that left my hair feeling soft and nourished. She then gave me the perfect cornrows before Eni installed and styled my wig absolutely beautifully. Thank you so much Peckham’s Best! I’ll be back!

Firstly everyone who works there is so lovely and friendly, the set up is stunning and booking was so easy to do. Samantha who did my hair was great and really friendly, I botched my own hair and she fixed it so easily. It will definitely not be the last time I come here, the service was great and I’m very happy with the results!

It was excellent. Watched an entertaining film on the telly while getting my hair done and stylist was nice. Love the style I got. I recommend this place if you're still looking for a stylist or a stylist change. Very welcoming

Loving my new stylist’s work on my hair: definitely a keeper! Jennifer is clearly passionate about hair and I appreciated her sensitive approach and thoughtful advice! An important BUT though would be for her to be operating from a salon that paid attention to hygiene; seriously… the toilet and sink, really not good.

Loving my new stylist’s work on my hair. Jennifer is clearly passionate about hair and has a wealth of knowledge and advice for working with natural Afro hair. She’s definitely a keeper👌 The one thing that let the experience down is the hygiene within the salon; Jennifer should look to renting a space that pays attention to hygiene. Gown dirty, not enough fresh towels visible. Looking around at the tools used wasn’t appealing, the salon needs a thorough deep cleanse and the toilet needs to be demolished and replaced…that sink….no water…hand soap or towel… seriously, shame on the owner🤢

My hairdresser Jennifer makes me feel very relaxed and comfortable. She has done an amazing job with my locks. I feel beautiful because my hair looks the part. I have found my hair Salon. Thank you Jenifer xx

The vibes at Zulu Bonita are immaculate. Mbali and the team are super attentive and have curated a really safe and calming environment. The services are fantastic and my hair feels so much better. Highly recommend the hydrate steam treatment!
