I’ve been back in Vancouver for a year and a half and have seen 3 different stylists at different places, none of them got my hair cut right. Then I met Alex today, he knew exactly what to do with my hair without me even saying anything. To say he is a genius, is putting it mildly. He totally transformed my hair and my overall appearance. Now that I’ve found him, I’m not going to let him go.

It was my first time at Nuvida and it was such a great experience. Jun was my stylist and he was meticulous, friendly, and very professional. I love how he cut and styled my hair — the blowout was perfect too. I was initially skeptical about hair salons in Vancouver, but Nuvida has definitely become my favorite. I’m happy to say I’ll be coming back! ✨

I had a root touch-up and haircut with Summer, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Summer recommended a layered cut, and I’m so glad I trusted her advice. She also did an excellent job with my root touch-up. My hair looked so great that it put me in a great mood all day! This was my first visit to the salon, and every staff member I interacted with was professional and kind. The entire experience felt thoughtful from start to finish. I live in Seattle, but I would honestly make the trip back to Vancouver just to have my hair done here again.

I absolutely love the haircuts I get every single time. I totally trust Khashi with my style. I just ask him to do what he thinks suits me best, and he nails it every time. The shop has a great vibe too, with such a tasteful and well-designed space, something you don’t see often in Vancouver.

The most relaxing dry head spa in Vancouver for the value. This scalp, shoulder and foot or arm dry massage is done, face up in a chair, in the back room of a hair salon beside the Stadium Chinatown skytrain station. You can hear people in the salon but Tomoko makes you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. I still fell asleep and will go again as it is a nice treat.

I received incredible service from Prép and a wonderful lash and brow tint from the lovely Marina — both were amazing as always! However, something in the salon has changed. For the first time in two years, no one offered me tea or water, and the receptionist didn’t seem very welcoming or attentive to the order of my appointments. I really hope the salon brings back pedicures — they truly have the most comfortable chairs in all of Vancouver!

I had a good experience as my first haircut in Vancouver! The owner personally did my cut who paid attention to detail. Price is slightly high but overall it was a friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend for anyone who is struggling to find a decent barber in West end area 🤗

I had another great experience at Vancouver Barbers & Concept Hair & Beauty Studio. I had made an appointment but the barber had to attend to a family emergency, so Shirin went out of her way to get me into her chair last-minute. Fantastic cut and she made me feel very welcome. Totally recommended!
