Mari was amazing!!! I wish I could take her back to Arizona with me! She really listened to me about my areas I was having a hard time with, and focused on relieving pain and tensions from them. Will definitely book work her when I come back to Corpus Christi!

If y’all don’t know Coastal Bend Day Spa, or Marilena Garza, Owner/ Creator, she is as unique as a snowflake in Summer… her expertise? Absolutely unmatched … 12 year Oilfield Hand, 6 years in the Marine Corps and 3 years of HS sports were no match for he hands.

After a string of disappointing services with other massage therapist in town, a friend recommended Merilena. The online booking process was a breeze and I found her to be personable and informative. The service itself was fantastic, all my areas of concern were addressed. The space is still new and being added to, the vibe is hard to put a single label on but even in this “transitional” period it is a refreshing change from the standard day-spa formula. I look forward to seeing the space fully realized. I’ll be a regular client going forward. 100/10 can’t recommend highly enough.

She is knowledgeable on muscles and pain. She was able to knock out a few kinks on my neck. I had a very relaxing and pleasurable visit. For sure will be booking my next visit soon!

Lena is the best !! I feel amazing thank you so much. She’s a wonderful therapist!!! She is educated and very knowledgeable and gives you amazing recommendations on what to be doing on your downtime before your next massage so that you don’t go in out of whack again. So talented her spa is so welcoming very personal I love that it was just one on one and just the best.

I wish there were more stars to award Marilena Garza at Coastal Bend Day Spa! I saw her today and she was able to relieve my aching shoulders and neck, my feet and my back. It was such a relief to my angry muscles and tendons. She knows what she’s doing.and the relief feels so good! I like the 90 minutes. I highly recommend Marilena.

I knew I would need a therapeutic massage from Mari after driving 750 miles through the mountains of Colorado. She had to do some real physical work to undo the damage and pain my driving and flying had caused. I have terrible arthritis, major L4 and L5 and sacroiliac issues and I’m 70. My experience at Coastal Bend Day Spa was superior. Marilena Garza knows what she is doing and has magic hands. The spa is on historic Furman St. and Mari’s space has a casual, comfortable Austin vibe. You may select your own music and then melt into the massage table. I have some serious diagnosed back issues and Marilena is trained and knowledgable in anatomy and body issues. She is very strong, very caring and excellent at her profession. My experience was superb. The prices are lower on Mondays but the relief is worth so much more. Marilena Garza at Coastal Bend Day Spa is expert at therapeutic massage.
