I had an excellent appointment at the Essence of Beauty Salon. The staff and services were very professional. Kiran was my stylist, and I am very happy with my hair style and overall experience. I live in Houston, TX and I'm in Charleston visiting my brother. I will return to the salon when I'm in town during future visits.

My daughter wanted a look for prom that other salons said was not possible with my daughter's hair type but not y'all! My daughter was given her dream hair style for her special day and I learned so much about caring for our hair! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! First time salon experience was great! Tonya was very informative regarding what I could/should do to better grow my hair and keep it healthy. She was also very quick but didn’t ignore the comments or concerns I had while completing my service! I will definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her as well!

Great experience at Hey Girl Hair! Kelly Clark was so kind and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. She did a shampoo, deep conditioning treatment, and a small trim, and my hair felt so much healthier afterward. I definitely recommend her!

I drive 5 1/2 hours one way just for Kelly to do my hair!! She’s worth every mile!! She will wash, dry, trim, cut and absolutely lay my hair DOWN in 1 hour. How she does it so efficiently, professionally, and beautifully, is like a perfectly choreographed dance. I never got so many compliments on my hair until I started going to Kelly and listening to her teach me how to take care of my natural mane. Truly, one of the best in the hair game!!!
