Gigi’s attention to detail is something I’ve never witnessed from a nail salon before. I was surprised by how much she prepped my nails before painting and designing them, but as she rightfully pointed out it is what should be done to ensure the longevity of the nail! I’ve been to “top rated” salons prior to Touch of Elegance and never received this level of service from any of them. Will happily come back as a customer. Thank you!!

Really happy with my brow lamination. Zoe is lovely and explained the process from start to finish. The result is enhanced but subtle and I appreciate Zoe's attention to detail and professionalism. The salon is a lovely setting to relax in without the busyness of regular salons. Looking forward to returning!

I visited À La Mode today to support a new business in the area and I was not left disappointed. The second I walked into the salon the staff were attentive, friendly and welcoming. I can be fussy when it comes to treatments, but all of the beauticians were knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and all the treatments were very reasonably priced. I can't wait to be pampered again soon!

Gigi is phenomenal! I’ve never seen my cuticles look this good—she’s incredibly detailed and precise. The shape she gave my nails is absolutely beautiful, with the most perfect rounded finish I’ve ever had (and I’ve been to a lot of salons!). Her BIAB application is flawless—honestly, I think she does the best BIAB in Colchester. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love Zoe - been going to her for a few years now and still always leave feeling like a new person! I genuinely really look forward to our appointments as not only is she incredibly skilled and knowledgable with an excellent eye for detail but also lovely company ☺️ her new salon is beautiful, peaceful and immaculate too, and is easy to get to by bus from Colchester town centre. GiGi is not only professional, friendly and welcoming with a lovely home salon, she is easily the best nail tech I've ever met. She offers cuticles work which so many salons don't but also tailors the treatment and products to what your nails ACTUALLY need, rather than just do the same ans use the same products on everyone. My manicures last over 3 weeks and she's also really reasonably priced, much cheaper than town prices! I've also had my brows done with her - They have lasted 2 years now and are still looking great!

Liz takes great care of my nails everytime I'm there. She removes my BIAB without causing any damages to my natural nails. This is a big plus for me as I've had bad experiences from previous nail salons where they hack into my nails with the machine. What keeps me coming back is not just the beautiful nails I walk away with, but the friendly chats and uplifting energy the place has. Just had my BIAB removed and having couple of IBX treatments before going back to BIAB. These ladies get booked up fast though, so book well in advance. Looking forward to my next appointment/catch up with Liz!!!

Farin is the best!! The knowledge Farin has is unmatched. From the moment I arrived I felt at ease instantly. Farin told me step by step what was going to happen and what she was doing. Farin took so much care before carrying out the procedure, ultra sounding my lips to work out the depth to inject, and showing me the whole process. I am beyond happy with the results, and was so much less painful than previous experiences.
