It was my first visit and it was lovely. I love my hair, I love the staff, I love my stylist (Lauren), I love the way the products smell, I love the way everything looks inside, I love their organization and the way they handle business. If I wasn't moving next month, this would be my permanent salon, but unfortunately I'm leaving New York. :(

What a treat it is to come get my haircut and spend time with the lovely ladies at Crissel New York! Crissel is not only a phenomenal hairdresser but also kind, thoughtful, and funny. I always have such a great time chatting with her and her awesome crew (namely Rosie and Susie). Crissel always makes me look and feel fabulous... and at a great price. Even after moving away from the neighborhood, I still maker the trek back because I know I can rely on Crissel to make me look my best (and give me a few good laughs). Highly recommend this wonderful salon!

Best haircut I've ever had. Rosemarie has magic scissors. I don't usually leave a hair salon feeling confident. I have very thick, wavy/curly hair & there have been too many botched haircuts to count. It's not unusual for me to end up fixing my own hair at home. This time was different. Rosemarie instantly became my go-to girl.

It was my first time in this salon and I was quite nervous to get a haircut because of how long my hair was and to how short i wanted it. And especially since I have curly hair. I felt completely welcomed and was complimented left and right and I never felt happier in a gorgeous hair salon. I love my hair, I love my stylist. if I had to rate it from a scale of 1-10 it would be a 12/10! I will be coming back!

I recently had my hair dyed by Aimee and the results were incredible. I had color in my hair that was from several months ago that I was no longer happy with. This review is looong overdue. I’ve been coming to this salon since 2021. I use to live 30 mins away from this place and even now as my commute is 1 hr 30 mins on the train - the experience here makes it worth it. I get my haircuts/blow out with Rosie. She’s awesome!! My mom occasionally gets her hair cut here also and each stylist has done a good job. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

love it here (first time visiting) -- I will definitely keep coming back for trims/cuts/color. Literally the best silk press in my life lol. But seriously, big up my stylist, Liyah & the other assistants at the salon. The (bob) cut is perfection & I appreciate her taking the time to lightly cut layers so my hair looks good in a natural state too Just know they're cash only (but they have an ATM)
