I highly recommend Francesco and Giovanni salon. I have been a client of Jen’s for 24 yrs. She is highly skilled in all aspects of hair styling and is very current on today’s trends.She has done updos, highlights, color and cuts on thru the year. My son (24) and husband also go to her. She is truly a unique stylist. The staff is also very professional and friendly. I never have any issue scheduling an appt.

I’ve been coming to this salon for a long time now. Francesco gives the BEST haircut ever! F&G’s color system is unbelievable at covering up grey hair; not to mention that their Goldwell color are so rich and beautiful. It leave your hair better than without color. I highly recommend this salon and it’s more than capable stylists. ❤️

My experience at Malian Hair Braiding Salon was excellent. My hair was braided exactly as I wanted with the color hair that I wanted. It is a comfortable family environment. I also got all my questions answered on how best to take care of my braids. I definitely recommend Malian Hair Braiding Salon. I saw that all three stylists did excellent work!

Jen was wonderful! She did my cut and color and took the time to really listen to what I wanted. She explained everything, made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed, and the results were exactly what I hoped for. My color looks beautiful and the cut is perfect. I left feeling refreshed and so happy with my hair. Highly recommend!

Francesco is a color magician! His Goldwell colors have such a richness to them. When he cuts your hair, he actually listens to your concerns and requests. I highly recommend this salon!

As a first time client, I was impressed by the state of the art/professional atmosphere, but even more so by the incredibly warm, welcoming & attentive owners & staff. After being a 30 year client at another salon in Philadelphia, I was rather nervous to make a change & place my haircut in someone else’s hands, but my appointment today with Francesco put all of my initial trepidation to bed! Francesco always makes me look great. I moved to South Philadelphia in February of 2025. Replaced dentist, doctors etc., but not Francesco. I drive 45 minutes to an hour every 3 weeks to a month to get my hair cut by him.

I’ve always had a hard time trusting a salon or stylist. My hair is thin, and after dealing with so many medical issues, taking care of my hair was always the last thing on my list. When I tell you I felt so special today, I truly mean it. My color and cut came out even better than I ever envisioned. Calling them superstars would honestly be an understatement. Awesome experience at this salon! The entire staff were welcoming and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The salon itself was beautiful and had such a great atmosphere. My stylist was extremely helpful in educating me about my hair type and explaining how to properly style and care for it at home. I didn’t just leave with a great haircut and style, I left feeling confident and informed about my hair. The cut turned out amazing and the attention to detail really showed. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for knowledgeable stylists and a truly great experience!
