I brought my 18 year old son in for a haircut and lesson on how to care for his curls. Kim was wonderful! She made him feel comfortable, asked pertinent questions and explained everything she was doing and why in just enough detail. We left with his hair looking amazing and his confidence to maintain it strong. We will be back! Thank you Kim ❤️

Truly a once in a lifetime experience. I left feeling knowledgeable about routines for my hair, confident in the way I looked, and ecstatic about finally finding a stylist who cares. For about 2 years I’ve been going to the Roots Radicals salon in Williamsburg. I’ve always loved it. Yesterday, for logistical reasons, I went to their Danbury location. It was my first time there and the first time Kim cut my short, curly hair. I could not be happier with the results—or the experience. Kim really understood what I was after, she worked slowly and patiently, checked in with me frequently, and even conferred with my stylist in Brooklyn. Plus the salon was a serene place to be. I left with just the cut I wanted. I know I'll be back.

Finding a hairdresser that truly understands curly hair is a challenge. I was thrilled when I found Roots Radical and left the salon with one of the best cuts and color I’ve had in a very long time. Kim was great and total gets curly hair!
