I live in The Hague, and was looking for a good hairdresser who would cut short hair. Going to Amsterdam for that was worth the trip. Konstantinos is amazing, very professional, and also a lovely person. I highly recommend Coup d'état, beautiful salon, great people, great job on haircut. And shampoo on the massage sofa is one more plus to the experience. Now I know who's my hairdresser in the Netherlands

We are visiting Amsterdam from the Uk and decided to have a long overdue hair cut. Put in trendy hair cut Amsterdam and this place came up. Very fortunate to get the only available haircut of the day. Armand was superb, did a fantastic cut and style and was friendly and helpful. The only issue is having to come to Amsterdam for future cuts. Thanks, a fantastic experience.

I’m new to NL and was struggling to find a good hairstylist given my hair is tricky to cut and manage. Luckily I found Nathan - he knows what he is doing and had a game plan to restore my old hairstyle, after all the bad cuts I had elsewhere in Amsterdam. It’s still a work in progress but I trust Nathan will get my hair back to its former glory. And as a bonus - he’s a very nice guy to chat with too!

The best barber in Amsterdam, when i came in i got offered a drink and the barber asked what i wanted for my hair. Ive been growing my hair out so its been up to my shoulders now and wanted something else. I showed him a picture and he went over how it would look on me and gave me some tips. We tries what he gave as tips but i preferred it a bit shorter. Without any hesitation he dis what i asked. It looked even beter then i expected because of the tips. Great barber definitely coming again.

Honestly the best haircut I’ve had so far! Gennaro is incredibly friendly, polite, and a truly talented stylist—he really knows how to get the cut exactly right. The salon is spotless and super comfortable, and the location is perfect, with bike parking right outside. Highly recommended!

Excellent impression for a first timer at this hair salon. The consultation at the beginning of the appointment helped me understand what I need to do and gave me plenty of advice on how to treat my hair. I had a great experience at this salon! Konstantinos is clearly very experienced, he really listens and has excellent technical knowledge when it comes to face shapes and creating the most flattering cut. I felt very well advised and in good hands from start to finish. I had to cancel my color appointment last minute and keep only the haircut, and they were accommodating and flexible, which I truly appreciated. I also booked brow shaping, but it’s not always available, just something to keep in mind. Overall, a fantastic experience and I’m extremely happy with my haircut! I will come back
