Elise is such a talented hairdresser. My son had his haircut today and it was shaggy and he came out looking like a million dollars. Elise is quick, efficient and most definitely one talented lady.

Miss May Hairdressers is a hidden gem in Ballarat! After some unfortunate experiences at other local salons, I was so relieved to find May. She's an absolute professional who takes the time to explain every step of the process, from cut to colour. It's clear she really knows her stuff and genuinely cares about giving her clients the best possible results. If you're looking for a hairdresser who is a cut above the rest, I can't recommend Miss May enough!

I cannot recommend Elise highly enough! Her vibe, her energy and her curly hair skills are second to none. Having a stylist that truly listens to your concerns about your hair and what you want to achieve is epic. The added bonus at Studio Hi Gorgeous is the beautifully calming pupper dogs, Rusty & Ellie. If I could give 100 stars I would!!

Melissa and her team are amazing. Best salon in Ballarat. My hair is now recovered thanks to Melissa’s patient plan, and is back looking healthy. Always great conversation in a friendly and compassionate environment.

Having going grey May has toned my hair with foils and a beautiful soft blond color that looks so natural. May and her staff are so lovely. Always a lively vibe when you are there. Have no worries that my hair color and cut will always be amazing. Coffee, tea always offered.

Had the absolute best experience with both Mitzi and Mae. My haircut has never been better and I'm so happy with the colour. My first time going to a hairdresser/s that actually knew what to do with curls! Yay! + there was a kitten and chai, honestly incredible.

Aisha was absolutely lovely and I usually don't like getting haircuts but she made the experience enjoyable and my hair looks nice and fresh, the salon was also very clean and had a welcoming environment!

I'm loving my fresh curls after a visit to Hi Gorgeous and keep getting compliments from strangers! Elise really knows curls and took the time to fully understand my hair goals. She gave me lots of great tips to try and it was such a pleasure to hang out in her beautiful studio space. I'm so glad Ballarat now has a dedicated curl salon and our very own curl expert.
