I’ve been struggling to find a stylist in Pittsburgh ever since I moved here 1.5 years ago. You’d think a short straight chop bob would be easy but I guess not! All that changes at Hairsmith! She identified what needed to be done to give me the cut I want and fixed a really gnarly haircut I had before. I’ll be coming back for sure!

It took me 20 years to find a salon at home that knew how to cut Asian hair. So when I needed to find a Pittsburgh salon who did that, I was very hesitant. BUT Ash is GREAT!! Helpful to have a reference picture. He matched what I showed in the picture perfectly, and he made sure throughout the haircut that it was what I wanted. Will be doing my annual haircut here!

So happy with my haircut! The stylist really gets Asian hair, both the texture and style. Super professional, kind, and chill. They made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. Clear pricing, great service, and it’s awesome to have this level of NYC talent in Pittsburgh.

Thank you for cutting our hair so good and cute. Honestly we were so scared at first that the haircut we want will not suit us but after seeing the result we were so happy we can’t even say and all the staffs are so good and sweet.

When I tell you I've been looking for a new stylist FOREVER... Damn am I happy I found this place. I've had so many bad haircuts in the last year and I was really hoping 2026 would bring some good luck hahaha And thank GOD. I got my hair cut from Kevin and I finally came out of the salon looking like a normal person. Attractive even! Everyone here was super nice but Kevin made my whole f**king year. And it's only Jan 3rd. 10/10 never going anywhere else again.

Kevin gave me exactly what I asked for. Usually, stylists try to do too much when I request a simple trim and face-framing bangs. He made me look polished and confident.
