Another amazing haircut. I don't live in New York, but whenever I'm in town, I make sure to come and get my haircut with Rodica. My barber in the town I live in butchered my hair and miraculously she was able to get everything back to normal. Strong recommendation again.

Everyone at this salon is a professional. Everything Curly Hair is their specialty. I'm so grateful for the expertise. Please try the salon you will not regret it. My scalp and hair are benefiting from the shampoo, the hair massage, the conditioner and let me not forget the hairdresser. I will not allow anyone else touch my hair except for Robert, who has the magic touch. He's very talented and highly experienced with curly hair. I'm sure the other hair professionals are talented but Robert is my choice and I'm sticking with him. I've receive so many compliments for months after my haircut

Jamal, and his assistant Talia, are extremely kind, utterly professional, thorough and an absolute joy with whom to spend the afternoon. Jamal is a wizard with sensitive hair, and fixed my damaged hair so that it looks and feels healthy and amazing!! It was a great blessing to find them; I only wish they were in New Jersey :-) so I shall have to go up to New York many many times in the future!!

Jake is highly professional barber, understood my hair type. He gave me an excellent haircut and beard trim.However, two things bothered me. 1, I requested a fade from the bottom, he initially mentioned it would cost extra as it takes more time. This didn’t seem accurate, as I’ve had the same fade for over a year, and the entire haircut and beard trim typically take less than 40 min. That said, he didn’t end up charging me extra, which I appreciated. 2, I was directly asked if I would tip, which I found it really awkward .While I always tip, being asked outright was uncomfortable. I had a great experience at the grand Centeral location I made a reservation the day of and went during my lunch break for a bespoke beard trim. I let my barber go with what he was feeling as I was trying something different and totally loved what he went with. I will now have to match it with a haircut soon with him.

Rodica gave me the best haircut of my life. She had her work cut out for her too because my previous haircut (from another barber at another shop) was quite lopsided and uneven. Highly recommend this place and Rodica in particular and would return in a heartbeat.
