Mr. Lane is quite possibly the best barber and barber teacher in all of Portland, perhaps all Oregon. I came in with a need for a very tricky haircut that he knew very well and was able to teach his student with thoroughness and depth. I hope I can make Mr. Lane's my go-to for all foreseeable future. I had a great experience at Throne Barbershop. I was a little nervous about trying a new barber, especially since I wasn’t sure how familiar they’d be with my hair type, but Bobby definitely came through. I was really impressed with both his skill and his professionalism. He took his time, paid attention to the details, and made the whole experience comfortable. The shop itself was clean, welcoming, and had a great atmosphere. If I had one small critique, it would be the finishing touches. At many POC barbershops, the haircut usually ends with a quick scissor trim of any wispy hairs, a brush
