Si vous avez la peau sensible ou des allergies, consultez votre médecin ou un dermatologue expérimenté pour savoir s'il est sécuritaire pour vous de vous faire tatouer. Les personnes ayant la peau sensible sont plus susceptibles de ressentir des rougeurs et des démangeaisons, et celles atteintes de rosacée, de psoriasis ou d'eczéma sont plus à risque de subir une réaction indésirable. Ne vous faites pas tatouer si vous êtes malade ou si votre système immunitaire est affaibli.

Comment prendre soin d'un nouveau tatouage ?

Le suivi varie d'un studio de tatouage à l'autre, alors suivez à la lettre les conseils de votre tatoueur. Vous devrez probablement couvrir votre nouveau tatouage pendant les 2 à 5 premières heures, puis le laver soigneusement avec du savon doux et de l'eau tiède avant d'y appliquer une fine couche d'un hydratant non parfumé. Vous laisserez ensuite votre tatouage exposé à l'air libre ou le couvrirez d'un film adhésif ou d'une gaze. Votre tatoueur vous recommandera un programme de suivi, mais vous devrez probablement nettoyer votre tatouage 3 à 5 fois par jour.
