Took my daughter to Ben for her 2nd lobe piercing. Would never go anywhere else for a piercing! Urban and Ben are literally the best in Reading. Ben makes you feel at ease and looks after you from the minute he walks down the stairs.

No better place in Reading to get a piercing imo 😊 Ben and the front of house staff are great and really helpful for suggestions in new piercings when you say you are looking for something new or different.

We travelled from Cambridge after reading reviews. Honestly couldn’t have had a better experience. My friend had a dermal by Ben and I had. A conch piercing with Eliza, the most friendly, hygienic and knowledgable piercing studio I have been to - week worth the 2.5 hr drive!

Keiomhe pierced my conch and changed my daith jewellery. Ben advised and supported her too. I couldn't decide between 3rd lobe or cartilage and she helped me decide by showing me some pictures and talking me through placement. She did a few dots so I could decide placement. She remained calm and explained everything throughout. Thank you so mucb, I love my new piercing 😍

Popped in with no appt on Sat and 5-10 mins later chatting with my fav piercer Evie! I was having 3 small piercings popped in my lobe just above my 2 archaic piercings (done when is 11 and 15). A bit of blue ink later, some mild swearing from me (low pain threshold) and I have a sparkly ear lobe. She also checked on my Helix piercing done a couple of years ago - cheers Evie :) Back again soon i think for a couple more ;) B

Great visit to get my daughters ears re-pierced. The staff was fantastic, and Eliza explained everything as she went through the process and made my daughter feel very comfortable. Would recommend Urban Piercings whether you are going for your first piercing or are a seasoned visitor.

Very good experience, explained everything well including the after care. My daughter's original ear piercing had stretched a bit and was off center, so Ben carefully measured and pearced the ear in the right spot. He was caring and recommended a plan forward which really reassured my daughter and made us feel comfortable. I had my 2nd piercings done on my ears perfectly as well. New masks given to us upon entry, temperature checked, constant anti bac cleaning of hands and tablet that we used to enter our details. Clearly respecting the new covid normality properly. Highly recommend.

I had my septum re-pierced today, and I am so happy!! The person working on reception was lovely and welcoming (sorry I didn’t catch their name), and Eliza who did my piercing was incredible. They listened and helped make sure my piercing was exactly what I wanted it to be, so friendly and knowledgable. I will never go anywhere else for my piercings, the team are incredible. Thank you!

I saw Ben today, who is ALWAYS such a darling ❤️ , and someone who has become a friend i have a good ol' gossip with while he preps my piercing. He is SO professional, caring and knowledgeable, and really puts me at ease while he is prepping my area to be pierced (today was a third bridge piercing the whole team adored ❤️) 😊. He's a pleasure to work with, and to see my ideas come to life with experience. He has done two of my bridge piercings now, and we have a lot of work planned for the future, which will be a joy to have done! 11/10 to the whole UP team 😘 xxx

5 stars as always. I had my eighth piercing, a rook, pierced by Ben. He was kind to me and reassuring when I was nervous. This is my sixth piercing with Urban Piercings and I’ve never had an issue, they know exactly what they are doing, they’re all very friendly and knowledgeable, and every piercing I’ve had from there has healed wonderfully. I highly recommend them - you really can’t go wrong with Urban Piercings. ❤️❤️❤️

Excellent service. Everyone I interacted with was very helpful and gave me their honest opinions. I went in for a daith piercing, but my left daith was too small for it. Ben discussed all the possibilities with me and I finally decided to go for the rook. I absolutely love it, even more than the daith. Ben was amazing, very professional, he explained everything that he was doing from start to finish and made sure that I felt comfortable and at ease as he pierced my ear.

My 8yo daughter was having needle lobe piercing after her piercings 6 months ago done by gun at a high street, had closed following a healed infection. Although the gun had been fine for her, a friend recommended needle piercing as less traumatic to the tissues. The bedside manner of the artist was fantastic, took time and explained everything clearly, really reassuring for her. She did find the needle piercing more painful in the moment, but found the manner of the artist so warm and kind that she said for her next earlobe piercing she would prefer to return here. Thanks so much!

From booking my appointment to the end result of having both ears pierced (for the first time!), I have nothing but good to say about UP! The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and my appointment with Ben, was excellent! Ben was so friendly and easy to talk to, all the while talking me through the process step by step - throughout the appointment I felt that I was in expert hands and my expertly placed, first ever earlobe piercings is proof of that! I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience, or a nicer person - thank you Ben 😊

Excellent experience as always. Eliza was very clear in what was happening with my daughter's (13) 2nd ear piercing, every step, hygienic (changed her surgical gloves twice), friendly, supportive, polite. I genuinely love getting my piercings here, my daughters and I all had ours done and we would never hesitate to recommend. Keep up the awesome work guys!

My 11 year old daughter had her ears pierced today, and I had my helix pierced. An absolutely brilliant experience, everyone was so friendly. Evie was so nice, it was the most pain free piercing I’ve ever had, highly recommended.

Had a lovely experience at Urban Piercings today, turned up with 2 friends to get our ears pierced and we felt super comfortable as soon as we walked in. Everyone was super friendly, and all 3 of us felt at ease after talking to our piercers, we will definitely be back for more piercings in the future!

That was my second time coming to the place, it was for a consultation and i changed my earrings as well. Evvie is amazing she’s the one who pierced my ears in the first place. she makes sure she puts patients’ nerves at ease and she was very quick today as I told her i gotta run to work. Very helpful, friendly & most importantly she likes guns n roses! i just love her:) Thanks for the whole team they’re so lovely and they treat customers with respect and they make it personal in a very lovely way! Ben is lovely, friendly, chatty and always happy. Ben has pierced my ears previously and knew I wanted him to carry out todays piercings. The chap at reception was also very friendly. The shop is immaculately clean too.

Evie was absolutely brilliant with my daith piercing; so professional but warm and friendly, explained everything as she went as well as aftercare. I've previously had my flat pierced here too which healed really nicely, I've used other piercers in Reading but definitely think Urban Piercings is the best by far.

I got my ear lobes re-pierced after almost two years of no earrings, and the ends had closed up. I was super nervous about re-piercing after reading some ambiguous advice online, but Eliza talked me through the entire session and was super kind and professional. I was also able to buy the aftercare solution in-store which was very convenient.

I LOVE urban piercings! Staff are always so friendly and chatty, and keep you distracted if you ever have to wait very long (rare). Place is SO clean. I've been pierced by Ben twice (higher lobe and tragus) and he is amazing - really knowledgable and as gentle as you can be. UP are also so great at aftercare with their clients - they are really helpful if you return for any reason (e.g. change or loosening of jewellery etc.). I wouldn't go anywhere else in Reading! Wish they did tattoos too!!

amazing! got my ear lobes done by ben at 3.2mm and the experience was very chilled out and welcoming, everyone here is so lovely and professional. i wouldn't go anywhere else in reading for my piercings.
