Daniela was fantastic - knew exactly what I wanted - small trim and then blow dry straight (as I have naturally curly hair). She was very professional and kept me informed of each stage of how she was going to trim before blow dry and then tidy up afterwards. Would fully recommend - Sequoia in Newbury has a wonderful calming atmosphere - and all the staff were so friendly.

Thank you Jordan for a great experience and a fabulous style. I haven’t seen a hair dresser since February and I hadn’t found one in Newbury yet so I am so happy to say that I have found my hair dresser and I am extremely happy! Can’t wait for my balayage in October!

My first visit to The Retreat…lovely salon. I usually see Andrew at Sequoia in Newbury, he always cuts my hair beautifully. Will be returning to the retreat as it’s a very calm environment. See you in December!!

Wonderful experience! Claire did a lovely job of my nails (French manicure with some nail art on my nail finger) I never get my nails done but Claire was so helpful and lovely. I’d happily go back!

I moved from Newbury to Oxford 3 years ago, but still come back to Newbury to have my hair done, as it’s the best Hair cut/blow dry by far. Well worth the drive. Ros

Nailed it! I wanted to go dark after being blonde for the last 26 years and all I’m used to. Amy went through different options and was so patient with me. I’m so pleased with the result and knew she’s know what would be best. The young lady that washed my hair was lovely too and made conversation easily. I could have spent all day at the salon! Despite being busy and not realising I had only booked one treatment, Londora came up trumps and did both hands and feet. Many thanks to Regan and Cheya? Great first experience at Elcot Park Retreat and I really appreciated not feeling rushed. I left with a great hair cut which was just what I wanted hence the 5***** review. It’s a beautiful setting too so worth a ten minute drive from Newbury.

Excellent wonderful to have reconnected with both Joseph and Emily, both of whom I had been to for many years. They are so experienced, professional and just so happy I have discovered their new place. The other people working there so helpful it was a great atmosphere in both Elcot & Newbury

Super but assistants are needed for blow drys at Elcot if you are offering colours otherwise the service is not as good as the Newbury salon. Twice now told there isn’t time or capacity for a blow dry which is disappointing.

Joseph is the best hairstylist in Newbury! He’s been looking after my hair for 20 years. I absolutely wouldn’t go anywhere else. Beautiful, modern and relaxing environment at Sequoia.
