I came to Tala Beauty Bar for laser hair removal on my back and shoulders. They use the Venus Velocity diode laser, and the results have been impressive even early on. It’s rare to find this level of technology and quality at such fair pricing in downtown Toronto. Mina was excellent and very patient, and she made sure everything was done properly. I felt comfortable throughout the entire session. I’ll be continuing the rest of my treatments here. Highly recommend.

Emily is definitely one of the most talented and qualified nail techs in Toronto. I'm so impressed with the quality, shape, and design of my nails. The BEST manicure and bio gel refill I’ve had to date! My nails haven’t looked this good in a very long time. They look super natural and clean. I had every intention of getting a French manicure design but because Geeta did such an amazing job and they look so good without it, I asked her to forget the French and keep it with the sheer natural pink colour polish because that’s how good it is! So well done. The amount of care and detail she put into my nails is incredible and truly appreciated. I’m a very picky person and I’m to say I’m thoroughly impressed is a a lot. I’ll definitely be back!

Mina did an amazing job with my lip blushing! She was super professional, gentle, and really took the time to explain everything and make sure I was comfortable. The results look beautiful and natural, exactly what I wanted. You can tell she truly cares about her work and her clients. Lili is a very detail oriented nail technician. The does a complete manicure from beginning to end. Leaving the nails looking very clean and the nail bed looks longer. Amazing job Lily! But be weary of who you book your mani/pedi with.

Sekai is hands down the best place for manicures in the city. I used to live super close by so it was naturally my nail salon. Now that I live further I realize how spoiled I was. Every time I get my nails done somewhere else I regret it, so I make a point of travelling back to Sekai when I need my manicure to last. My fave technician is Mithu. She is so kind and takes extra time and care to get my nails just right. My manicures always last longer than from anywhere else, so it’s worth the slightly higher cost. I highly recommend Sekai!

Excellent service and care, a new neighbourhood gem. This will be my new Go To. In addition to the meticulous French manicure and the perfect colours on my toes, the coffee was delicious. The services took a little less time than expected (for a mani/pedi) but attention to detail was very high! I also appreciated how calm and quiet it was in the space. Thank you, Tala and Shiva.
