I was happy to discover Mystic Roots after moving to Cobourg. After more than 19 years with the same hairdresser in Toronto, I was concerned to give my hair to someone else.. But Alayna did a good job. I am very happy with the result. Thanks

I was very worried if I would find someone to give me a haircut here in Cobourg, after being with my hairdresser Kim in Toronto for almost 20 years. But Helena from the Mystic Roots did a wonderful job. I really enjoyed my new hair style. She is very professional, not only giving you ideas but listen to what you want. Thanks Helena!

Mystic Roots is a step above most salons I have been to! You get an upscale experience without the pretentiousness that often accompanies one! Everyone is warm and inviting , while being professional and knowledgeable !! They are respectful of your time, and truly listen to what you want. If you are looking for that boogie experience with friendly, and extremely capable staff then this is the place for you! Mystic Roots is a lovely spot found in an unassuming, yet quaint little shop nestled near the downtown core of Cobourg. Treat yourself, it’s worth it!

Friendly, welcoming staff from the moment that you walk into the salon! ON Time appointments and staff quick to offer relaxing herbal teas or fruit infused water. Salon is clean, products are well displayed. Creative and extremely skilled stylists actually LISTEN to your styling desires and suggest interesting "flairs" and products to enhance your hair style. Mystic Roots features quality Aveda products that are used by my entire family. I have been a client of Vicki's for over 40 years and have never come away disappointed.

Always a warm welcome, and I really enjoyed Leia's hand massage. Kasia worked wonders with my colour. To be honest, though, the salon's prices are getting a little out of my reach, which is why I took a break and went elsewhere for a while. A heartbreaker, because it's a lovely spot, just very tough on the wallet.
