I went to Art Room for the first time today and had double process root maintenance with Sandra. She did such an amazing job! She did exactly what I asked for and could not have been more pleased! The salon itself is clean, cozy and stylish. Sandra and her assistant was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place.

11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

Desirèe exceeded all of my expectations today! I am still in awe of how beautiful my hair looks. I am so happy I trusted her with my transformation. From start to finish, Desirèe took her time, listened to my concerns, and was incredibly thoughtful throughout the entire appointment. Never knew how bad I needed to come here until I did. Can’t go back to my barber anymore. What exceptional service. The individuals here take great care of you. If you’re thinking of getting a massage, don’t think about it, just do it! And as for a haircut - I came in with my hair having no shape, minimal volume, no umph. Thanks to Silvia’s attention to detail and time, I’m leaving more than happy with my new style. Thank you again.

Jamal, and his assistant Talia, are extremely kind, utterly professional, thorough and an absolute joy with whom to spend the afternoon. Jamal is a wizard with sensitive hair, and fixed my damaged hair so that it looks and feels healthy and amazing!! It was a great blessing to find them; I only wish they were in New Jersey :-) so I shall have to go up to New York many many times in the future!!

Jamal and his assistant Talia are the best! Their haircare and styling are rated beyond expectations with high end quality. Since July my damaged hair has improved to the max. They are so patient and takes time to answer questions on hair maintenance. Every visit is a great experience!

Gian Carlos was my stylist today. He’s done my hair before.. They actually took before and after pictures of my hair lol. That’s how dramatic it was. He has an attention to detail, he’s a master with his tools. Also the Onur staff is both professional and warm, and the facility itself is meticulous.

Amazing service. The hair wash lady gave a wonderful massage, and the hair stylist was diligent and talented. Only feedback would be for the salon to please clean the hair off the chair and floor after every patron.

Was my first time at this salon and everyone was so nice and welcoming! I'm so glad I found a place that knows how to do curly cuts and truly cares about the health of your hair. I wanted to lighten my hair and dye to a nice copper, and Lorna found a way to achieve it without further damaging my already dry hair. The color came out beautiful and I will definitely be returning for root/color maintenance!

I walked in spontaneously, from out of town, and having wanted to cut my hair and change my style for a while but not knowing where to go since my stylist moved last year. I read the reviews, requested a consultation, and took the plunge! I was not disappointed. Onur spent time talking with me and we came to agreement on the style (a chic chin length bib with slight texturizing). My hair was long, between my shoulders and elbows, so this was a big change! Onur did a great job. I am very happy with the result and wish I hadn’t waited so long. You’ll be in good hands in a welcoming place.

Always a wonderful experience (except when they don’t have something for my coffee, but I just started bringing my on) so, no exceptions. It’s very comfy, give & take convo, or can just be. No hair fails. Lovely folk. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
