She did a meticulous dry, curl-by-curl cut, perfectly executing the soft, feminine face-framing I wanted. She truly appreciated my natural ash blonde colour and even gave me a natural chamomile tip to maintain the tone. Despite being busy, she went above and beyond, ensuring my hair was 100% dry before I hit the Amsterdam cold. A celebratory, professional experience—I felt in such safe hands! 🪷

We are visiting Amsterdam from the Uk and decided to have a long overdue hair cut. Put in trendy hair cut Amsterdam and this place came up. Very fortunate to get the only available haircut of the day. Armand was superb, did a fantastic cut and style and was friendly and helpful. The only issue is having to come to Amsterdam for future cuts. Thanks, a fantastic experience.

Ik mocht werken bij een Award Uitreiking in Amsterdam en zocht op het laatste moment een kapper. Ik kon direct terecht bij Dayaa Hairstyling en mijn haar is prachtig opgestoken en gestyled voor een redelijke prijs. Mooie salon en super aardige, hardwerkende eigenaren, letterlijk met hart voor de zaak. Dank!

Senna is a young professional with a gentle manner and a calm exterior who made me feel well looked after. Great conversation, excellent English, fully understood the style I desired, is in the know and up to date with hair trends. I had a cut and foils, she understood the look I was aiming for but, more importantly, what would flatter me. She also gave me one of the best blow dry finishes I’ve had since leaving London, using fantastic styling tools. I can’t wait to go back in the future thank you senna for making me feel so happy!

I live in The Hague, and was looking for a good hairdresser who would cut short hair. Going to Amsterdam for that was worth the trip. Konstantinos is amazing, very professional, and also a lovely person. I highly recommend Coup d'état, beautiful salon, great people, great job on haircut. And shampoo on the massage sofa is one more plus to the experience. Now I know who's my hairdresser in the Netherlands

Een goede (krullen) kapper met genoeg kennis en ervaring om de klant zo goed mogelijk te helpen met de wensen. Leuke mensen die er werken en luisteren en adviseren goed. Ook als je het spannend vind om je lange haren te laten knippen, wordt er goed met je afgestemd en wordt je op je gemak gesteld.

I got the Japanese straightening perm and my hairstylist was Takako and she was absolutely the sweetest person ever. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it so I am very satisfied. I got my dream hair after waiting for years! She always made sure I was comfortable and she was a delight to talk to. We laughed a lot and inbetween the nice conversations she talked me through the entire process which I really appreciated. She was highly skilled and had a true passion for hair, I could tell from the first minute. Thank you Takako and Assort Amsterdam for being so great!
