Hello, I'm a mature lady who lives in Tropical North Queensland. Walking around Cairns I observed how shabby and shaggy the average person's lanky, long hair looked. Then horror of all horrors I saw a reflection of myself in a shop window. I was also one of the "shaggiest"! This lead to much researching of the total 40 odd hairdressers in Cairns. I needed an updated style that would show my femininity. I found Lexie at Vault Ninety One. If I moved to Timbuctoo I'd travel back to this truly talented stylist who has made my hair and my life brighter.

After eleven years searching for a hairdresser who understands fine, thin hair and the style that is sophisticated but easy to manage I found her in Lexie. And I look about twenty years younger. Lexie has very special talents in colouring and styling. As an extra bonus the two other hairdressers in this exquisite salon with ultra comfortable chairs also styled their client's hair to perfection. I'm chuffed and excited to be me again Thank you Lexie.

What a fabulous salon. Everyone is hugely friendly and Saint, the dog is adorable. The hair washing room has to be seen to be believed. It had fairly lights on a darkened ceiling, recliner armchairs at the basins and it’s just perfect. Montana cut my hair. She’s a true expert on curls. I have never in my 61 years had my curls explained to me. Now I know how to look after them so they curl everyday. I love my haircut and I will be requesting Montana next time. My curls need her!

I am a transient in this area and goggled to find a local hairdresser, and what a gem I found! Ceili took time to familiarise herself with my hair type, then dry cut my hair perfectly to suit both my hair type, face shape etc. she then followed this up with the best hair shampoo and head massage I’ve ever had! The laid back massage chair was a bonus. Can’t recommend Ceili at Fusion enough to any potential once off or long term client. Thank you!

Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. My stylist was professional, knew what she was doing with hair that has been affected by menopause and had some great tips. I love the style created for me by Ceili. It is something that I can easily manage and recreate at home

I am a regular client. Excellent service! Walled in on Fri 07/02/25 10 mins before 5pm & asked for a wash & dry. Immediately friendly, sure we can..... & even got some fresh popcorn. Love these two individuals. xx

Marie is an amazing colourist with a wealth of experience, and passion to make your hair shine. After 30 years of having foils I’ve had ALL the experiences (blondes you know what I’m saying) and Marie is the best I’ve come across. Her blonde is fresh, bright, natural, and all without a trace of damage to my aging treated hair. I hesitate to let the secret out, but she is honestly one of Cairns very best colourists. I feel safe and comfortable with my blonde in her hands, you can trust her professionalism and experience to give you the most gorgeous blonde without any of the stress or damage.

Loved my experience at Chic hair! Cherie is lovely and knows her colour and style. A cute private salon that’s very comfortable and easy to access. I had foils,cut and blow dry& loved my head massage. My hair is fresh and new I love the colour and Cherie knew I always wear my hair up so she placed the foils in the perfect spot. I had the Keratin treatment done by Cherie and am absolutely happy with the outcome!! My hair is naturally curly but I like to straighten and was constantly battling with the frizzyness!!! The treatment has tamed down my frizz and if I let it dry naturally my curls are perfect! Not to mention when I straighten it stays straight!! Will definitely get done again in a few months!
