I went in for a wash and blow dry, I had Tiana look after me and she was sensational. Tiana is very warm and very good at what she does! The salon itself was minimalist chic, I’d definitely go back if I lived in Cairns! Thank you!

Loved my experience. Francesco went above and beyond for my wash and blow dry. My drink order was automatically requested by the Fresha app. I will come back when I visit Cairns again and ask for their signature cocktail, which sounded delicious and refreshing!

Wonderful and Friendly I have been looking for a Salon in Cairns for 12 months and had no success. Then I was lucky enough to find this gem! The team at Cuts by Carella are professional and down to earth. They have extensive experience having worked in larger metropolitan cities. I was so happy with my haircut and blow dry. Hello, I'm a mature lady who lives in Tropical North Queensland. Walking around Cairns I observed how shabby and shaggy the average person's lanky, long hair looked. Then horror of all horrors I saw a reflection of myself in a shop window. I was also one of the "shaggiest"! This lead to much researching of the total 40 odd hairdressers in Cairns. I needed an updated style that would show my femininity. I found Lexie at Vault Ninety One. If I moved to Timbuctoo I'd travel back to this truly talented stylist who has made my hair and my life brighter.

Lexie has very special talents in colouring and styling. As an extra bonus the two other hairdressers in this exquisite salon with ultra comfortable chairs also styled their client's hair to perfection. I’ve been going to Addie since I moved to Cairns 2 years ago. She is incredibly skilled at figuring out what works for you and what you want as well as delightful to spend time with. She has helped me find a style that I can keep with little effort and has been tweaking my colour to fit the colours I like with my job requirements. Not always a straightforward job.

Having recently relocated to Cairns I was looking for a new hairdresser and hit the jackpot with Jack. Right from the start he was a great communicator, genuine and I felt like the haircut was very collaborative - it turned out great. Thanks Jack! By the way the fringe looks great when I put my hair up in a pony tail. Thanks for the suggestion.

I am absolutely thrilled to find DJ. After a botched haircut 2 weeks ago l got to the stage that l could not put up with my hair 1 more day. After reading 4 hours of reviews l crossed my fingers and decided to make an appointment with DJ at Suede. It was 1am in the morning when l went to make an appointment. I couldn't believe it when he had an appointment for 4pm that day. It was meant to be. DJ is certainly a professional and knows his stuff. I have now found my new hairdresser in Cairns. I would highly recommend DJ 👌

Absolutely loved my experience at Suede Hair in Cairns! I got a fresh cut and they did an amazing job refreshing my blonde hair after it had gone a little yellow from the sun & swimming during my holiday. The colour looks bright and healthy again. On top of that, I got to hold the most adorable, well-behaved dog while they cut my hair — honestly the best bonus ever 🐶💛 Everything was perfect from start to finish. Friendly, professional, and relaxing. Highly recommend!

I love the space and surroundings and the sustainability ethos of Suede. Also very reasonably priced in comparison to other salons I have tried in Cairns.

From the time I walked in it was a fantastic friendly vibe. Salon was tidy and fresh looking. All the girls were smiling and welcoming. Their products are natural plant based.. I walked out of there feeling amazing, colour was beautiful, blow dry and a little curl. Made my 50th birthday . I will be a regular from now on.
