The spa space is really nice- the pedicure area is tucked away in the back and very private. Kaelin was thorough with the nails , and very calm. She also offered me tea which was great. She also did a good job with my calluses once I asked her to do it , as it seems it wasn’t included in the service but we still had time. Just a couple pieces of feedback - I would have liked a bit more of a foot soak with warm water as opposed to a rinse in cold water. I also didn’t realize until it was too late that she was cutting the hair on my toes , which is something I avoid as the hair is thick

Really nice experience overall! The appointment started with a consultation about what I like about my hair, what I wanted to keep or change, and my main struggles. She then did a dry cut, followed by a wash with a rich conditioner. The chair even had a massage function, and the scalp massage with a hair scrub was incredibly relaxing. After drying my hair, she carefully checked everything and made final adjustments. The whole appointment took about 1.5 hours, and she also took before-and-after photos. Plus, we had a lovely chat throughout. Highly recommended!

Excellet first experience on this massage salon. I tried thai massage which was very good. Overall I felt more relaxed lighter and more mobilised . So thank you I’ll be looking back later .

The massage from Diana was 5 stars, very relaxing, thank you very much. However some constructive feedback: the noise that comes from users entering / leaving the spa area and then people using the changing rooms interrupts the overall experience. Diana had to stop my treatment twice to tend to noisy users (which she did very professionally), however perhaps there should be a better solution, like a door between the treatment space and changing rooms to minimise disturbance and more signs. As I said Diana was great, so would come back again.

I think this is the third year that I’m going to Curl Spa. Luciana has been my hairdresser ever since. There’s no curl hairdresser like Luciana. She knows what she’s doing and gives loving and honest advice. We experimented with some wine colored highlights and it turned out amazing. Natural with an edge. Love it!

Incredible massage. I booked head massage. masseuse noticed that my shoulders are extremely stiff and did an amazing work relaxing them also by using additional oils and tools. In my opinion, this attention to your body’s needs is adding significantly to the experience. When people seemingly trying to help you it makes me willing to come back 💕Attentive, very professional and friendly collective. Delicious tea with cinnamon. Thank you!

I loved my experience at Essence! I took my friend here for a massage, and I had a facial and both treatments left us feeling so relaxed and amazing. The spa area and facilities are super nice too but the most wonderful thing about our experience was the staff; both therapist were not just extremely knowledgeable they were also the kindest, warmest and most welcoming and did everything they could to give us a perfect experience! I can highly, highly recommend!

It was my second appointment with Saïyn and I couldn't be any happier. She is really good on studying the hair, bring solutions and also on giving good advices. Not to mention the haircut itself. Het was zeer rustgevend. Goed om weer eens een Sauna te doen en wat te badderen in het zwembad. Alles goed verzorgd. Wat een geheim achter die oude deur aan het Vrijthof nummer 20. Een zalige Spa. Daarenboven nog eens een heerlijke massage. Gegeven door Sussel. De ontspanning die over me kwam was hemels. De massage was teder en zacht en met respectvolle warmte. Soms gleed van een heerlijke rust bijna in slaap. Ik kreeg er tranen van in mijn ogen. Bedankt Sussel! Dan is er ook nog een restaurant verbonden aan het hotel met heerlijke Libanese gerechten! Een aanrader dus!!
