Becca is always amazing. She is so experienced, and offers solutions. She knows all the answers to my questions, and my haircut and style last, even when I can't get in to see her within a few months. I have had many stylists over the years, and she is definitely the best!

Can’t say enough good things about Roland! The first time we met he pointed out my long hair was 4” longer on one side! I was all in favor of my last stylist not cutting too much - but this was ridiculous! This time I went to see if a little layering around my face would make my very fine hair look thicker. After taking a LOT of (completely unhurried) time to discuss how I normally manage my hair (as little as possible!) we agreed layers would be too much work for someone totally defeated by a round brush! Instead he did a minimal but effective blunt cut that is perfect! Highly recommend!

J. Roland Salon is a gem of a hair salon - we are so lucky to have access to its talented stylists right here in Sausalito on Caledonia Street. I have my hair colored by Sebastian who is a wizard with color, knowing exactly how to tone and add understated pizzazz to a client's "crowning glory". But it is my haircut that has made all the difference to me. Since Roland began cutting my hair, roughly a year ago (I go every 5-7 weeks), I have literally never had a bad hair day. It falls into place after blowdrying (I do it myself) and hardly needs any fussing over. What freedom and bliss!

The salon is a welcome addition to Sausalito. It is professional, had a beautiful clean interior and very qualified stylists at the ready there. It is easy to make an appointment and the times I've been in have been spot on as to results, and right on time if not ready early. Sebastian is super approachable, very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to keeping this as my go to for any and all styling I could want!

J Roland Salon Sausalito is a gem. Sebastian is a wizard with color - between him and Roland's impeccable haircutting skills and understanding of what one's hair will and will not do, my hair has never looked or behaved better - ever! I always walk out on Cloud 9 after paying a visit to the salon.
