As you walk in the door of Sew Brooklyn you are in for a treat! Well, at least thats what it was like for me. I had read the reviews and did my research for top Hair Salons for black hair in Brooklyn. It was all positive feedback for Sew Brooklyn. Today I am adding mine! This Hair salon is the best by far! Loved the cleanliness, the ornate and luxurious, setting; even my black and white poco-dot apron! I am a regular! From this moment on. Oh, yes, loved my hair! Shampoo, Conditioner, a Rinse to cover my gray, a short, slick, Bob Cut all for a reasonable price! Treat yourselves ladies!

My hair is very short, buzz cut actually. But, Jamila makes me walk away looking and feeling like I just received a silk press without the chemicals, lol. I love it!!! I highly recommend this shop. Come to Brooklyn and walk out strutting, like I did! 🤩

My first time visiting the H2 Salon Brooklyn and I had a wonderful experience, everyone was friendly and professional. My stylist JahLena was patient, empathetic, knowledgeable and super sweet. I didn’t feel rushed or judged and she took her time to learn about my hair journey and experiences. I was worried we would have to do a big chop but we were able to do a cute bob cut to allow my hair to grow healthier and fuller. Thank you so much JahLena and H2 Salon. I look forward to my hair journey and coming back again; see you soon!

What a treat it is to come get my haircut and spend time with the lovely ladies at Crissel New York! Crissel is not only a phenomenal hairdresser but also kind, thoughtful, and funny. I always have such a great time chatting with her and her awesome crew (namely Rosie and Susie). Crissel always makes me look and feel fabulous... and at a great price. Even after moving away from the neighborhood, I still maker the trek back because I know I can rely on Crissel to make me look my best (and give me a few good laughs). Highly recommend this wonderful salon!

Gina was so amazing! My hair was dead and flat when I came in. She listened to what I wanted out of the haircut and recommended some solutions and did such an amazing job. I can’t recommend her and this salon enough after encountering so many bad salons in Brooklyn. So happy to have FINALLY found a salon I plan on coming back to for future haircuts.

Kim is the only person I trust with my cut and color in the whole borough of Brooklyn (and probably NYC as a whole). She not only has skills and style, but also cares deeply about hair health and maintenance and since visiting her years ago, my hair has been the healthiest it's been - and the best it's ever been colored! This is hands down the best barbershop in Brooklyn! Ruben is a true master of his craft—precise, dedicated, and skilled with both hair and beard styling. His years of experience and artistry shine through in every cut. The prices reflect the top-notch quality, and it’s absolutely worth it. My experience with Kat is excellent as always. Kat is personable and always professional. She is passionate about what she does and genuinely cares about her clients' needs. This is her vocation. I live in the Bronx and travel to Brooklyn just for Kat to take care of my tresses. Enough said!

I always love my time at Sew Brooklyn! The entire staff is awesome and I really adore Kayla specifically. She’s always warm and inviting and she can blow dry her a** off!!! The entire experience is consistently amazing, this is my forever salon home.

Love this beauty salon, the girls are all amazing at what they do! Customer service is always on top! Alla has amazing, magic hands that always manage to bring my hair back from the dead! She is the only hair stylist in Brooklyn I trust with my hair! I am always able to have a very relaxing time after a stressful, long work day in the atmosphere of these wonderful ladies! Jill is a magician!! The New York winter and water had killed my curls, but Jill brought them back to life. So very professional and taught me about my hair and styling, while also keeping my preferences top of mind. The space is clean and modern, and the Self team were so wonderful.

Flew from Dallas to get the amazing services at Sew Brooklyn by Janice. Janice was so nice and professional. I loved my versatile sew-in. I haven’t had results like this in years. The shop is also beautiful, clean and offer drinks upon arrival by their great staff. Stellar shop!

It was my first visit and it was lovely. I love my hair, I love the staff, I love my stylist (Lauren), I love the way the products smell, I love the way everything looks inside, I love their organization and the way they handle business. If I wasn't moving next month, this would be my permanent salon, but unfortunately I'm leaving New York. :(
